Heat resistant but very stiff
Nice mitts, they resist heat very well and go way up your arm but they are really stiff, almost like trying to move leather instead of cloth. Maybe they will work in with use.

Really nice oven mitts, get the job done!
These oven mitts are as advertised, and they get the job done. Very thick and insulating – I had no problem holding hot dishes for a long time. The only trouble may be if you have small hands – these are quite voluminous and padded, so you may not feel fully in control (my partner said as much). For me, they are perfect and get regular use. So far, so good.

Nice Mitts
These oven mitts are a reasonable addition to my kitchen. They are very insulated, with thick layering throughout the mitt preventing burns to hands, writs and lower arms. They are also stable to use directly on surfaces and laying pots and pans on top. I found the mitts easy to clean, just throw them in the washer and off you go and they look nice as well.The reason I gave them a 3 rather then a 5 is in their ability to use. For someone with large hands I am sure they are easier to use, however with small hands the insulation is very thick and difficult to manipulate. This makes it harder to change hands with hot objects and is extra pressure when trying to lift heavier objects.Overall, they are a good mitt and work as expected, however I would not purchase them again due to my ability in ease of use.

Great replacement
I bought these to replace a similar style of oven mitts that are worn out.I am very satisfied with the fit and finish of these oven mitts.I have used them once to take a sheet pan out of a 400 degree oven.I held the pan for over one minute to test. I did not feel the heat and I didn’tneed to set it down right away. The thumb of the mitt is a little stiff which isto be expected when new. The stiffness is not really noticeable.I think that these will last for several years with normal use.
