Truly airtight storage that seems built to last
Living in the Deep Humid South I’ve become painfully aware of how many food stuffs that do NOT deal well with dampness but also are not meant to be consumed in one sitting are nonetheless sold in cardboard containers. Environmentally friendly, I guess … but not sustainable if you have to throw them away like I did baking soda and onion/garlic powders soon after moving here. These containers are the answer; they are very sturdy and the lids will satisfy your inner OCD … they lock on (won’t accidentally get popped off in the shuffle of the pantry) and you can even hear a hiss when they open sometimes – airtight! You can see the contents well, but labels help with things like baking soda/powder that look similar. The four sizes (really three — there’s one tall one for pasta or such, but multiples of the next three sizes down) are a great variety to cover snacks, baking supplies, spices — anything you need to store airtight and uncrushed (i.e. plastic bag won’t do it).

Versatile, well-designed and space efficient!
I live in a coastal climate where the food in my pantry gets stale quickly if not sealed in airtight containers.  This set is large enough to handle my needs while also being very space efficient.  The narrow base and taller profile of the containers makes them easy to arrange and stack to organize my pantry.  When not in use, the containers all nest down inside one another making them easy to store.  The other thing I love is that they all use the same lid that has four snap-down sides for an airtight fit – this simplifies things since you can grab any lid.  Importantly, these are BPA-free. The reason for the 4 star rating is that in the product listing photos, the containers appear to be crystal clear – almost like they are acrylic. My containers don’t look like that… they are slightly cloudy plastic more like food storage brands you commonly see in the supermarket. If you really want a crystal clear look, then you won’t be happy with these.The set includes 4 different sizes for a total of 15 containers! The sizes are 28oz. 1.5 quart, 1.8 quart and 2.5 quart. All but the smallest container have measurement markers in .5 liter increments.Overall, I like this set and would recommend as long as you realize that these are not crystal clear.

Decent Budget Containers
I found this set of food storage containers to be a decent set of containers.I was disappointed that they do not look the same as pictured in the listing. Size/shape wise they are as listed, but the photos clearly show the containers to be more of a true transparent plastic but they are actually more of a cloudy clear color.This may just be the lighting in the photos, but it stood out to me as different and gives me the impression the containers in the photos are made of a hard plastic instead of the soft, flexible plastic that they actually are.The containers are a decent quality for reusable containers but do not really give me the impression that they will hold up to frequent use over time. I will just have to use them and wait and see how they hold up over several months.There are several good points for the set.From a value perspective, they still seem like a good value for what you get.They nest inside one another, so storing extra empty containers won’t take up a lot of space.The lids are all the same size, so regardless of what size container you are using, the lid is the same. Keeps it simple and avoids hunting for the match lid for each container.They also do seem to form a good tight seal when closed and the lids lock in place well.
