sturdy, little waffle tongs
Sturdy little flipper. Keep in mind that this is a very short utensil. Unlike some tongs, these are always in an open position. There is no lock to keep it closed, which is fine because it really doesn’t need it. But that also means that it doesn’t open real wide– again, don’t really need it for waffle use. We use it for use with our Belgian waffle maker. I think it works great. Rather use this than poke my waffles with a fork.I’m 5’10” and have large lady hands. My fingers are short and my palms are wide. I have no issue operating this flipper. Why am I tell you this? I mention this because other reviews have said that it is too small to use? Nah. I wouldn’t use it in a piping hot cast iron pan with boiling oil, but to safely and easily handle waffles off the waffle maker? yeh, totally fine. Some of you make it sound like it came from Barbies Dream Kitchen lolI purchased mine when it was around the $6-7 mark. That is the most I would spend on this. I see they list it as an $18 item.. no. It is well made, but it isn’t an every day item (well, unless you make waffles everyday. Can I live with you?)It’s fine. I like it. We use it. I have no issue with it. Full rating.PS, I have had it for 10 months, no issues.

Nice invention, useless!
For waffles,, you still have to use the old fork to lift it then,,,you might be able to use the fork/spatula/thongs. Love it when it arrived, so excited to try it. But not much value added,, I would recommend keeping with your old way and saving the money.
