Air tight. Good solution for cabinet moths
Due to an invasion of cabinet moths needed air tight containers to store foods. These moths can chew through plastic bags. So that wasnât an option. Tested these by filling with water and checking for leaks. Totally leak proof with an excellent seal. Have purchased other shapes and sizes since initial purchase.

Just like I thought
Sturdy, lightweight plastic, has a good seal. I have not tried putting water in it and turning it upside down. I use it for my flour and rice and sugars. I would never put it in the dishwasher, so I hand wash. Itâs exactly what I needed for my dry goods not worried about the plastic, because Iâm not cooking in it and Iâm not warming things in it in the microwave. So Iâm not worried about any chemical transfer to my food.It does hold exactly a 5lb pound bag of flour, not room for any extra at all.

These are absolutely fantastic. I needed to update my old cannisters and this set was a good deal that I could try.The only draw back is I really wish these came in bigger sizes as we buy 10 pound sizes of staples such as flour and sugar.I’m still researching for big enough sizes but I’m holding on to this set as I search.

A nearly perfect dry storage system
These beautiful, modular stackable containers present a variety of options for storing goods.Good:- I like that the sizes are compatible so when you stack containers of mixed heights, they come out to the same heights as the larger containers.- The sealing system is easy and effective. And easy to clean.Bad:- They do pick up fingerprints- The clarity of the containers suffer near the edge of the mold => could be better polished.

Two pieces looked used
I have purchased quite a few of these containers and have been happily using them to store dry goods such as flour, rice, oats, sugar, nuts, etc. I recently ordered two more sets containing 4 pieces per set and two of the largest size containers were not as clear and shiny as the other containers. I suspect they may have been used and returned. I will keep them because it’s more of a hassle to return them, but I will rethink ordering more in the future.

I love this Rubbermaid Brilliance line of containers. We recently moved to an apartment and took this move as the perfect opportunity to change out my hodge-podge of pantry containers. I am thrilled with this purchase. Once I got it and put it in I didn’t regret the price. I bought a few extra pieces like the cereal container and another flour container. For the cooking enthusiast, I would highly recommend.

I love the fact that they are clear and you can see exactly what is inside the container. They stack nicely and your cupboard looks neat and organized. The seal is very tight and I wash them in the sink with soapy water and they are sparkling. Seem very durable.
