So far so fabulous
So I had a Hamilton Beach Dual Brew for a couple of years. Loved it until the k cup feature started frequently failing and it started leaking from the bottom. Loved it so much that I bought a second. Same thing after not even a year. Dumped it and started using my French press which is ok. Then my son got me a Keurig for Christmas. Total game changer for maybe 2 months before it totally conked out. So I invested in this bad boy. Time will tell, but only 2 days in, I’m sold! I can make whatever size pot I want or cup for that matter. There’s several different cup sizes. I love the switch that closes of the drip. A normal pause and serve contiues to drip a little. This doesn’t. The brew strength feature is amazing! Usually I use about 5 scoops for a full pot and still have to set it on strong. Not here. I use 3 heaping scoops, set it to “rich” and, BOY! It delivers! So I’m certainly going to save a little money. I haven’t used the frother. That will most likely be a “guest” feature. My only complaint is that it doesn’t work with re fillable pods. If you want k cup brew you have to buy k pods which are expensive. But with all the other cool features, this is only a super itty bitty disappointment. UPDATE! So the features description, I was under the impression that there wasn’t a reusable pod in existence that would work with this machine. However, in the process of looking for bulk cone coffee filters ( I drink a LOT of coffee), I came across a compatible stainless steel reusable pod. So now I have to say this Ninja is a NINJA! No complaints whatsoever!

Better than the K
So after having a Keurig for years and years, and having to replace it every 2-3 years, yet again the K gave up the ghost and I was on the hunt for a replacement. I had gotten the opportunity to enjoy coffee made with a Ninja coffee maker at PT last summer and had made a mental note of how good the coffee tasted.I have had it for a little over a week and used both the carafe and the pod settings. Both make great coffee, somehow this one extracts a ton more flavor from the pods, likely due to having 3 injector needles. It also gives a larger 12 oz cup, seems more like 13-14 oz though I haven’t bothered to measure but I have to use my bigger cups to have room for my cream. I haven’t tried the foaming wand yet but it’s there and I will at some point. Now the detailsPackaging is great, easy to unbox and set up. Simple to figure out with stickers on the machine to help with figuring it out. The handy measuring scoop that attaches to the machine is a nice extra. It comes with a few of the #4 cone filters but be sure to order some if you are wanting regular brew and to avoid the pods. Now just to see if it holds up better than the Keurig

Love itâs versatility
I bought this years ago and still love it. I like that it allows you to brew various cup sizes for both coffee and just plain hot water. The hot water also dispenses separately to avoid a coffee flavor. You can also make K-Cup style coffee which I love! And thereâs more! It also comes with a coffee glass carafe which is nice, to make various sizes of brewed hot coffee and four select types of brew. You can also make ice tea or coffee too! For all that this does it doesnât take up that much space either. I call it my âall in oneâ coffee maker.Only thing it doesnât do is make a Nespresso cup of coffee so I have a separate single cup Nespresso maker which Iâm fine with.

Excellent Coffee Brewer
I’ve been using Keurigs for many years but when I ran across the CFP301 on sale, I was intrigued enough to give it a try. I really liked how you could set so many brew sizes and the ability to brew 1/4 carafe if I wanted a few cups without having to make two individual cups. I actually planned to use it mostly with reusable pods, like I’ve always done with my Keurigs, so I ordered a set that would work with this machine (most will not). The pods I bought look to be good quality, but I’ve never used them. I’ve been using pods for so long it never clicked that with a machine like this, using reusable pods makes no sense whatsoever. Just use a regular filter, add your coffee and set the brew size to the size cup you want. But there’s more. Much more. With a Keurig or other pod-style machine, you are limited by the size of the pod. They can work a little magic by slow-walking the brew for a travel mug, but it was always weaker than a standard cup and there was little you could do to remedy it except for maybe brewing two pods into one cup. With the Ninja, I can simply adjust the amount of coffee and select the desired brew size. Done. Delicious. This machine, like all of the Ninja products I own, is well engineered. The moveable tank is a fantastic idea and is easy to use. The flip-down cup holder? Awesome! The foldable frother? Very cool, and the way you can just pop it off over the cup to take it to the sink is slick. Even the “smart” scoop is a very nice touch. Everything is so easy to use and convenient. The carafe is well designed and easy to clean. The insert for the carafe ensures the hottest coffee is circulated from the bottom up. Nice! I’ve had no issues with the temperature of my coffee. It has been nice and hot every time and the hot plate under the carafe makes sure it stays that way. When using a thermal travel mug, I’ll either let it cool for a few minutes or plop a small piece of ice into it. It’s hot.For filters, I am using Melitta #4 and folding the seams as recommended by Ninja. These are affordable, especially if you buy them in multi-packs. The result is delicious, ground-free coffee. I’ve read several reviews complaining about grounds in their coffee, but they don’t mention their particular setup. Are they using a permanent filter? Pods? I don’t know, but I’m not getting any and I’m not sure how I could using the paper filters. As for any negatives, which I feel compelled to include in any review, the only things I can think of are insignificant. The build quality is great, but it is a lot of plastic. For the price-point, it’s definitely as good as I think one could reasonably expect. As long as it holds up to plenty of use, it looks good, works very well and I’m happy with it. I do wish there was a little capacitor to power the clock temporarily during brief power outages or if you unplug it for a few minutes. This is a tiny complaint, but I already have two other clocks on other appliances in my kitchen and it’s a minor nuisance having to reset all these clocks every time the power blips.I haven’t had the machine long enough to do a long-term review but if anything changes, I will update my review. So far, I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.Edit (11/2023): I’ve been using this coffee maker for five months now, and I would now be lost without it. I absolutely love the versatility. My most recent development was to dig out my old 34 oz. French press, which fits nicely under the filter basket. For the best, boldest coffee, I measure the proper amount of coffee into the press and add 24 oz. of hot water from the Ninja for my normal 2 12 oz. cups. Easiest way ever to use the press. If I need a whole pot or just quick cup, I just brew like normal. If someone has a favorite K-cup, the insert works as expected. Selecting the brew size for coffee or water has been consistent and accurate. I really, really love this coffee maker.

Best coffee maker
Absolutely love this machine. I have coffee and tea everyday and once in awhile visitors that drink lots of coffee. This machine does it all. Froths milk, brews tea using its on dispensing tube, makes coffee, loose and k-pods. Tea water super hot which is what you want, coffee a little cooler but great. Have already recommended this machine. Best ever. Only had it a few weeks, hope it continues to work as well as it has already.

Recomendada.

Haven’t had a drip coffee maker of any kind for the last 10 years. I have been using a french press for the last five years and before that my coffee was made in a percolator. A friend introduced us to the variety available in coffee pods, which my wife loves, so that kind of made up my mind. The Ninja CFP301 seemed to have it all and it meant I could do coffee from grounds as well as from pods. We buy beans from a local roaster and the quality of the finished coffee matters a great deal along with the versatility of using k pods.I can’t begin to say enough good things about our Ninja coffee maker. We keep 4 or 5 different types of coffee beans on hand and this machine has made great coffee from them all. The fact that it dispenses hot water for tea, etc as well as makes coffee is a bonus in a small kitchen, so no more kettle on the counter. The footprint of this machine is not as big as I feared so it fits well on our counter top. The brew styles work a charm as does the milk frother. OK, so you have to heat the milk up first in the microwave instead of steaming it hot…no problem. The ‘Specialty’ brew style is worth having the machine for all by itself. While it doesn’t produce the crema that true espresso machines do, it makes a cup of espresso from ground coffee that looks, smells and tastes close enough to genuine espresso that making lattes and cappuccinos is easy and a great complement to my kitchen. The conversion from grounds coffee to k pods is simple and I even bought reusable pod capsules that work very well.If there is a con of any kind it’s that the warming plate keeps the coffee a bit hotter than I like so that a pot of coffee doesn’t age well. I turn it off after a few minutes.I heartily recommend this coffee maker and have done so to all of my coffee fanatic friends.

When we received this product we didnât realise it was a USA plug but the seller vertex went beyond and above to help us find a converter – unfortunately after an amazing start the machine blew a fuse so we begrudgingly returned it – Canay @ Vertex was amazing and made every transaction so easy and hassle free Canay deserves 100+ for all the help we received a big massive thank you and Iâm praying for the day this amazing product becomes totally UK friendly and once again a big shout out for Vertex and especially Canay ð
