Simple, No Frills, Good Cup of Joe
I bought this coffee maker to replace a duel k-cup/pot coffee maker that took up too much room on our counter. I wanted a compacted 12 cup coffee maker since I found we rarely used the K-Cup side. I also realized I never used any of the bells and whistles program stuff on it either so I was just looking for something that turned on, you could pull the coffee pot away while brewing to fill a cup, and had a hot plate that stayed on for a few hours and automatically shut off. This coffee maker completely fit the bill. As far as the cup of coffee, it makes a really good cup. The drip setting and temperature is perfect and seems to make even a better cup than the same coffee I used my old, more expensive, maker. My husband and I used to only occasionally make coffee at home but tended to grab coffee from our favorite chains when running out. Both of us prefer to make our coffee at home now to take with us.Only complaint is the maker itself is very light and thin, somewhat flexible plastic which feels cheap; however, there has been no plastic-y taste and itâs held up well. If you are looking for a compact, no frills coffee pot that makes a great cup of coffee, this coffee maker is it.

Brews consistently perfect coffee
For well over a decade, my husband & I swore by our stupid expensive, constantly heating water in the tank for a hot pot in 3 minutes that we would have to replace every couple of years. We used it in the mornings only, with the pod machine the rest of the day. We moved across the country 14 months ago & when I had to drain it to pack it up, I was horrified at the amount of deposit that drained. I am diligent with monthly cleanings, & it was like sand coming out with the last bit of water draining. I threw it in the trash in Texas where it belonged. Once we got to our new home, we opted to buy a far more economical coffee pot that lasted a year & then got slower & didnât make complete pots; a sign of a slow coffee pot death. Off to amazon to look for a replacement! I decided on the Mueller coffee pot because the price was right, & I now know that in this day & age, the basics are truly better. The Mueller arrived, & it is very aesthetically pleasing, & while we still get our 3 24oz mugs of coffee, it is not as tall as other brands, fits under the counter nicely, slides without bouncing & sloshing the water after youâve set it up & push it back in place. It takes about 15 minutes for a pot, so by the time I feel the cats, the coffee is ready to pour, & it is magnificent! As coffee is really just hot water & your choice of coffee, it now seems silly to have spent upwards of $300 every 3-ish years. However long this one lasts, & I suspect it will be a year like the one it replaced, itâll be 12 years before I spend what I did on the gross silt machine, & about $900 in my pocket, pricing apples to apples. With proven reliability, I will definitely continue to buy this coffee pot whenever the need arises. You will not regret purchasing this coffee pot.

A good basic coffee maker
My old basic coffee maker from around 1980 was still going strong but I broke the carafe and could not find a replacement. The universal replacement carafe was as much as this coffee maker, so I thought why not just get a whole new set up. I was not interested in digital displays or any bells and whistles – just a basic coffee maker. This one does the job. Brews at a good temp and makes a decent cup of coffee. It is also pretty quick to run thru a full tank of water. I have not had it long enough to have to clean the tank area or the inner workings. The on/off switch is a touch rocker switch, not a click to one side on and to the other side off type which took some getting use to. You just have to pay attention to whether the green light is on or off. I hope this one holds up for over 40 years like my last one.

Makes a Great Pot of Coffee Quickly
As can see this is an addition on my Coffee Bar! Great for when I want to simply brew my âCafe Bustelloâ in a larger batch for company/guest rather than Keurig single serve. I have waited to write a review until after Iâve used it awhile to see how it held up AND It is an awesome, simple coffee brewer that has held up for approximately 3 months! The price is great, the coffee pot is sturdy and the water gage is true to form! I am happy with this purchase and would buy as gift as well as refer to family and friends. If I had to say one thing it would be that I wish it had a timer to set for brewing on its own so that when I woke up for work it would begin brew and be ready for me to pour and walk out the door! (Thatâs why I gave 4 Stars) Instead I set it up the night before then hit the start button when I get up then go about my morning routine getting ready for work. however, it clearly states it doesnât and I knew that prior to purchase! I really like this product! No mess, No Fuss, simple and easy to use! Makes great cup (s) of coffee! Just what I need first thing in the very early mornings!
