Easy to use
This is our first juicer and we have read many reviews about various different brands and types. Weâve had a great experience so far. Itâs not too loud, the pulp is dry coming out so we know weâre getting the most juice, and itâs easy to disassemble and clean.

Powerful but flings things out
Been trying to use this juicer on and off for over a year. Itâs very powerful, well made and thought out. I originally got to juice large batches of lemons and oranges for canning. The blade is super efficient but spins so fast it seems to fling veggies and fruit pieces right to the waste basketâ¦. Like theyâre barely touching the blade before being trashed. Thereâs juice in the waste basket every time and I feel like itâs wasting vitamins.

Amazing for juicing!
I was looking for a cold press juicer. This one is great! I appreciate that the Shute is large and we donât have to cut the veggies and fruits into small pieces because most things fit simply cut once in half! So far so good.

First Time Juicer
Yes….I picked c=right with this one; First time juicer and it works great, and is easy to clean. The brush saves my fingers from cleaning the blade – Amen! Easy to disassemble & reassemble for use. Just like any machine, I am careful to not JAM fruit into the thing, I take my time. Pineapples (with the Rhine), Apples, and Ginger go through nicely. Lemons & Limes turn into juice. The noise is close to but below a 10+ year old blender. Only flaw is that some items will bounce in the machine, I have to take slowly to add new fruits/veggies, as they could bounce up and out of the entry point. I think it is a good machine, so I’d recommend. As my first machine, the price point was middle of the road vs the $300+ items that claim to do everything.

This juicer wastes your time, money, and fruits/veges!
This juicer was a complete bust. While it was fast and easy to use. The waste pulp was way too wet.I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t a matter of user error, so I tried different sizes and shapes for the fruits and veges I would feed into the chute. I noticed on my first few runs, that inserting smaller pieces would inevitably result in them shooting almost immediately, partially chewed, into the waste bucket. I then start leaving them larger and larger, so they would have direct pressure from the plunger, almost holding them in place against the blade. I would still wind up with pretty large pieces of fruit or vegetable in the basket. I also tried using carrots, celery, apples, cucumbers, beets, cactus fruit, lettuce, kale, cabbage, collard greens, etc. Large portions of my input would just wind up in the waste basket. The pieces that did caught in the blade would consistently end up really wet and in the basket. The last two times I used the juicer, I squeezed the pulp in a cheesecloth and was able to get a considerable amount of juice out of it. I have included a picture of the last juice output. In an attempt to fill the pitcher, I juiced enough fruits and vegetables to get the pitcher approximately 75 percent full. I then dug into the basket and started squeezing the waste. I was able to squeeze an additional 2 cups of juice out of the pulp. I have included a picture of the juice level in the pitcher and what would have been thrown away had I not gone back for the second squeeze.I called Breville to see if they had any advice. Their customer service never answered the phone. I placed four phone calls. For two of those calls, I waited on hold for a representative that never answered. For the other two calls, I took the option of getting a call back. I left my phone number and never got a return call.I had an old centrifugal juicer some years back. I got rid of it because it was too loud and it would shake while it was spinning. It made me feel like it was going to explode or tear my countertop apart.I soon after bought a masticating juicer. The juice that it produced was great. The pulp was always dry, BUT I hated cutting the pieces up into little bite sized morsels. It felt like such a waste of time.I moved over to this Breville because I wanted to be able to throw giant pieces into the chute to save time and energy. Truth of the matter is, the time you save not cutting up vegetables, gets spend squeezing out pulp. If you don’t squeeze out your pulp with this thing then you are basically throwing money away every time you make a juice. Juicing is already kindof expensive as it is. To know that you are getting maybe 60 percent usage of your produce is too unnerving for me to deal with.I went back to my masticating juicer.

Never felt the need to write a review. 9 times out of 10 I’m completely happy, but never felt the need to sit and write. But the Breville! Juicer!?! Let’s just take a moment to appreciate quality and craftsmanship. Everything advertised and more. It is so easy to assemble. Sturdy. Regal looking. Works like a Dream. And cleans with Ease. Did I mention remarkably quiet? Oh, how I love the quiet. The juice itself? So good.If you are hesitating buying this product, don’t! Do yourself the favour. You deserve it 🙂
