Keeps bread fresh
I live in CA where they are trying to eliminate the use of plastic. After the first of the year I noticed there was no longer inner plastic wrap on my wheat bread and the result was stale bread within a few days. CA, food should be exempt from the elimination of plastic wrap. Anyway, I started storing my store bought wheat bread in the original wrap it comes in from the store in this. AMAZING DIFFERENCE, my wheat bread stays fresh for a couple of weeks, maybe longer if I hadn’t finished it. I keep checking for signs of mold because I thought “this has got to be to good to be true”, NO MOLD. Originally I bought this to store my bread made in my bread machine because it is the perfect size for bread machine bread. Where I live the humidity is high at night but not in the day time, to give you an idea of our climate. If your store bought bread is getting staler faster because of the elimination of the inner plastic wrap, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AS A SOLUTION!

Great Food Container
I bought this to hold a 3 1/2 pound bag of cat food. Its compact size is wonderful as it doesnât take up my whole cupboard. It seals as advertised, keeping the food nice and fresh. I have tried many containers and love this one the best by far!

Holds at least two pounds of spaghetti noodles
My old dry spaghetti noodle container finally gave up the ghost. Bought this one as a replacement. It does the job and should last another 20 years. Have several LocknLock containers and enjoy the variety of sizes that are part of this line.

Just the Best
I have been using LocknLock Storage Containers for at least 10 years, and I still use those I purchased way back when. I use them primarily for dry storage – beans, various flours, rice, cereals, etc – and they are simply the best. I bake my own bread and I appreciate that when I remove the lid I can easily dip my measuring cups into the containers. These containers are real workhorses and I highly recommend them!

wanted an air-tight bread box for store-bought sliced bread; decided on this and glad i did 🙂 comfortably fits one loaf with room for a few more slices, if needed. can feel how well it seals while securing the latches.UPDATE (as of Jan 2024):just wanted to note that i paid $15 at the time of my initial review lol, and have noticed the price has stayed around the $50 mark for quite some time now; while the box still does function perfectly, please do not pay $50 for it.
