Exactly what I was looking for!
I was tired of being on my iPhone constantly, and deleting the apps that took up so much of my time didn’t quite work, as I would just find myself re-downloading them. So I picked up the Nokia 110 4G, after my old Alcatel Go Flip wouldn’t turn on. Best $40 ish bucks I’ve ever spent. It’s small, has a flashlight, a camera, and all other basic things you need in a phone! Talk, text, calculator, FM radio?! And not to mention sweet free games like Tetris. The only thing is that I use WhatsApp for work, so I actually ended up also purchasing the Nokia 6300 4G to use on work days, as it has WhatsApp. The 6300 is also a good phone, however, I much prefer the 110.10/10 stars

Major glitches, sends calls to 911
It thinks 123 is an emergency number, which is in fact the system shortcut for dialing voicemail. Whether I manually dial the voicemail code (123) or hold the 1 key, it says “EMERGENCY” and literally connects to the 911 center. The phone instantly labels it an emergency call before it even connects. I have another phone with the same carrier, and this doesn’t happen. The call volume is extremely low. I can barely tell there is a voice there at all. I can only understand people if I change to speakerphone mode and hold it directly against my ear. Yes, I have the volume set to full in both modes. Lowering the volume… doesn’t make it lower. It’s like the volume is set to the lowest level regardless of how I adjust the volume level. It has a message icon which won’t go away even though I have no unread messages. I tried the menu option for deleting all read messages. It sits there pretending to do it for a minute and then says “failed”.

Strong and a long lasting battery.
When charged it takes weeks to go low on battery. Though it not been used very often yet it is still a long lasting charge.

Nice $40 4G talk and text phone
For a talk and text 4G it does just fine. The menu navigation process is sometimes weird. Trial and error to figure out a lot of it. Buttons are crisp, screen is easy to read in Large Text mode. Always in dark mode meaning white text black background – which I prefer. Battery life is fair because the phone’s operating system doesn’t draw much power. Speaker is clear but not very loud in standard ear listening mode. Speaker mode is loud but not quite as clear as ear mode. One SIM card slot and one Micro SD.

    A great basic phone
As one who is looking to ‘disconnect’ to the outside and ‘reconnect’ with the inside, this phone is the best that I’ve tried so far.It has no wifi capacity – a big plus. If you want a bit of data for I don’t know what, you can get that through your SIM provider. The buttons are solid and do not jump, skip, or ‘double press’ as is the case with the other basic Nokia phones. Even typing messages is easy despite the limited keypad. It is responsive and fast.It is small, easy to hold (and could even be called appealing) and easy to read.An excellent choice for getting back to what a phone was meant for, making and receiving calls and, as needed, texts.

Not intuitive and not for the 2023 person
I got this phone on my path towards digital minimalism. Previously, I had a Google Pixel and I disabled many of the built-in features, but I wanted an actual challenge without email, etc. I could not find a way to sync my contacts, which meant I manually put them all in. I use my phone for my job and sometimes have to send group texts. This phone will send group messages, but when you reply, it just replies to the one person who the previous message was from. There is an internet browser, but I could not get it to work correct, even using Google Maps or Gmail through the browser (maybe this is a plus for you). There is no way to use Wifi, so you basically have to use a data plan, which I was hoping to go for a low-data plan if this phone worked out. I had trouble hearing while I was in a public space whether the phone was actually calling the person I tried to call. I just ended up making calls from home where I could hear whether it was ringing, etc. I’m pretty tech-savvy and many of the features were not intuitive to the average person. I had to work a lot to figure out the text messaging, using punctuation, T9 vs. abc, capitalization, etc. It also took me awhile to figure out how to change volume settings (under profiles) because there is no volume button on the side. This phone does not get emojis and the picture messages are so tiny that you can’t really see the pictures. And then you can’t text your email address to look at the picture later. I’m returning this phone and getting a slightly more upgraded Nokia. It would do as an emergency phone, but seeing as I would like convenient group messages and picture messages, this phone is not for me. It did work on Mint Mobile’s network in Sept. 2023. I also kept the keypad locked, but if you dial 9 or 1, it opens up the dial pad for an emergency call. These buttons got hit locked in my purse, but luckily, I never accidentally dialed 911.

My review is the following: I’m very angry because the Nokia 110 4G phone was not included in the delivery I received. The only thing in the box was the charger and the earphones, but no phone.
