Scale still fairly new but used almost daily. Charges by USB. Supposed to hold charge for months ! Like the size. Easy to use, easy to store, easy to clean… just wipe off. Can place a receptacle on top before turning on and the weight shows zero….. which is perfect. And price great. I have only used it for ounces but changing to others is simple… press button to get desired type of weight.

Sleek scale (RECHARGABLE)
To level set the review, I use my scale for portion measuring and also baking (more accurate and repeatable). Below is a quick list of the pros and cons:Pros: – Easy to read numbers (lights up blue when you change the weight) – Large area to place measuring bowl (allows for large quantities while still being able to read numbers) – Rechargable: I charged it upon receiving it and haven’t charged it again for 2 months while using it multiple times a day (It shuts off after 4 minutes, or you can turn it off manually)Cons: – Extremely sensitive (this is overall a pro, but when adding small amount it can bounce between a few grams for a bit which can be tedious at times) – Quite large (again for me this is a plus, but if you want the most compact scale you can find, this is not it) – While sitting, the blue light goes off and numbers are hard to readOverall, I love this scale. I think the look is incredibly sleek. Not having to keep batteries for it is also wonderful and the size is great for my applications (I cook large amounts of protein at one go and use large measuring bowls). I chose this version after extensive research and feel like it was a good choice.
My previous kitchen scale died when I spilled water on it and it leaked into the display. That cannot happen with this scale. I also chose it because the measurable units are small (1 gram) and it can handle more weight than most – up to 33 lbs/15Kg. I like the multiple units available as I weigh everything, including water which I can do in ounces or mls. (More accurate than a measuring cup.) I no longer use recipes which measure ingredients in cups (like flour) as grams are much more accurate and you can get a conversion chart into grams for many different ingredients from the King Arthur website.. I am concerned that it needs to be charged (usb) when it runs out of juice as I am accustomed to running everything with rechargeable batteries but it has not been a problem so far. It is easy to shut off after each use and I haven’t needed to recharge it yet. I like the brand as I have had their food vacuum sealer for many years and it works great.

easy to use, fast accurate results
As part of our “new” dietary habits (noom) we weigh and measure literally EVERYTHING we consume. Preparing dinner is so much easier with two scales (I had one). This one has a large surface, bright led display, and both scales come up with the exact values when measuring a variety of objects- either they’re both right, or off by the exact same factor, so I tend to believe the accuracy. Glass top for easy cleaning, and though mine lives on my counter, it is thin enogh to go in a drawer. Very happy with this purchase
