Great size and shape
I usually cook with cast iron, and those flimsy plastic turners just weren’t cutting it any more. I can’t use them at all when I’m cooking at high temperatures, because they would melt. The silicone turners hold up in high heat, but are too floppy to release food from the pan with any “authority”. This turner is good to use in any cooking situation, from flipping eggs and burgers to frying potatoes.This smaller size is perfect for my use. It gives me a little more dexterity when trying to maneuver bits of food around the pan.One small tip â the handle. It’s a nice sturdy plastic handle, but it’s made of POM plastic, which has a melting temperature of around 347° F. That’s fine for the dishwasher, but it’s not a good idea to leave any cooking utensil sitting in the pan when not in use. I’ve been using plastic turners for a long time, which forced me to get out of the habit of leaving cooking utensils just sitting in the pan when not actively working with them. That’s what spoon rests are for. If you just get in the habit of setting your cooking utensils aside when not using them, you’ll never have to worry about the handle melting.

Perfect and nice quality
It looks like it has a wooden handle, but itâs probably not, but it has the feel and look of one. It looks sturdy and long lasting and we enjoy using it. Now, Iâm looking for one just like it thatâs just a little bigger with a longer flipper blade.

Spatula or turner?
Is it a spatula? Is it a turner? Who cares it works great and looks good doing it. Good handle fit and the radius end fits my cast iron pans perfectly.

Good enough to buy a second!
My first one lasted a few years, but I left it against the cast iron skillet a few times and the handle started to melt at the end. It was cosmetic and it continued its service that way for years. What finished it off a few months ago was leaving it against the skillet and letting it set that way. It actually caught fire! Lucky for me the sink is right next to the stove. No harm, it was my mistake not the flippers. I tried a few other turners in the past few months but miss this one, so I bought a replacement. If you know the handle is a durable plastic and do not expose it to direct heat, I would say this is almost the perfect turner for my cast iron cooking.

rusts after one year; handle melts
Great to hold, BUT if left on the edge of skillet for a minute, it begins to melt. Washing (in dish washer) inspires rust at one year of use.

Very useful turner , not too large but will be useful for flipping burgers or chicken breasts / pancakes etc. Very solid stainless steel construction. Great Brand . I own a chef’s knife from the same brand, that I purchased in France , years ago. Happy with this purchase. Shipping was quick.
