Best nonstick, college-kid tested, I bought 2 sets
I don’t like nonstick pans because they don’t last very long before the surface is all “stick,” and I never trust the chemicals they might put into your food. But some things are hard to cook on my trusty stainless steel pans without gobs of oil. So I’ve been looking for semi-trusty nonstick fry pans for years. Most have failed me until I was gifted one of these pans, which cleans up like a dream and almost never requires oil. When I wanted another size of the same pan, I bought 3 different knockoff brands of “copper”– each lasted for a couple of months before warping and beginning to stick.So I bought this set for my 20yo son’s college apartment. He’s an inexperienced cook, so I wanted him to have nonstick, and he requested “lids that fit,” unlike my menagerie of pans. After 6 months, he says the set still works great. And I was due for an upgrade on several of mine, so I bought another set during a sale. These are even better than the first Gotham pan from years ago. They have heavy bottoms so they sit flat and cook evenly on my glass-top electric stove. The variety of sizes of pots and pans are perfect for my needs, and there’s even a deep saucepan. The glass lids fit tightly and are interchangeable from pot to pan, so you don’t have to juggle too many lids. And there’s no chemical taste or smell like many nonstick pans emit.I haven’t had them long, so I can’t vouch for the “scratch resistant” aspect. But I did note that the item description says you can use metal utensils, but the paperwork that comes with the set says not to use sharp objects, so I’m afraid to use a metal spoon or spatula.Overall, for the price and versatility alone, these pans are worth owning. But the quality so far surpasses my expectations. If they start giving out in the next few months, I’ll update.

Best ever cookware.
Love this set of cookware. This is actually my second set. I gave my first set to one of my daughters as she needed new cookware. I love this set even more than the first. If anything does stick, it washes clean easily. My daughter loves the ones I gave her too. They still looked like new. Very good product.

Great set of pots and pans but one is defective.
I love the warranty and the quality of the set. I did, however, notice a scratch on one of the pans and am addressing it !!! The Gotham steel people said that I have to go through Amazon for a claim!!! The large sauce pot is damaged/defective

Overrated Trash
This pan is overrated trash, and this is me being polite. My family brought this pan separately after buying a complete Gotham Steel set (from another retailer) and having that initial pan scratch badly after only a few uses and thinking that must have been a fluke and buying this pan to replace the damaged one. The positive was that this pan was larger with deep sides, ideal for family style cooking. These are still the only positives associated with this pan. My family and I used this pan multiple times a week for cooking all types of items including scrambled eggs, pancakes, braised chicken, sautéing vegetables, and even homemade sauces and gravies.All instructions provided by the brand were followed, including avoiding high heat, and never using metal utensils. I purchased wooden spoons just to use on this pan. The pan never provided even heat distribution, even using on low could lead to sticking and because the heat distribution was so erratic you often couldn’t use the lid to let dishes simmer and flavor develop. From the beginning, the uneven heat distribution meant that almost everything put in the pan caused food to stick. Also, I have no dishwasher and the pan was always handwashed. Since food was always sticking this meant putting in a lot of extra effort, if you have any swelling issues or arthritis issues in hands or feet like I do you will quickly come to hate this pan.It is an absolute lie that you don’t need any cooking oil to use this pan, try that and watch the pan instantly burn. Other reviewers have noted that the pan is warped, this is true of the pan I received. Oil runs to the edges, and I had to try rolling it around the pan or using a paper towel to try and spread it out. This problem is probably the result of poor-quality control, warped pans should never have been sold to customers. The pictures from other reviewers showing the burnt/scratched bottoms are exactly what my pan looked like. I purchased my pan in January 2023, and trashed it by August. Also, in case you’re wondering, the entire set has the same problems with uneven heat distribution and sticking, and I am replacing all of them.

Great non stick and easy to clean

The quality of these pots and pans are amazing to cook with and to clean. Because of the construction of these pots and pans, it allows anyone to be a great chef in their own kitchen. Cooking on medium to low heat is important to get the results in flavor that these pots and pans can offer. Because of the easy clean up- I wash them by hand in just seconds – wipe the pan, rinse in soupy water and rinse in clear water, and dry -DONE !!!
