We use this everyday now!
It has multiple display options (grams only, kg and g, ounces only, and lbs/ozs) which is very convenient. Taring it easy, and the pull-out display feature makes it easy to use with wide bowls. It is seemingly accurate, and if you’re trying to lose weight or ensure accurate macros, this item is a must! Seems very sturdy and is very easy to clean. This scale is wonderful!

Easy to Read, Accurate, Classic Style
I purchased this unit to replace it’s predecessor that I bought 12 years ago. This is the best scale ever. I use it every single day. The pullout is invaluable when the container is wide, such as a dinner plate, which otherwise would block the display when docked on the unit. Being able to accepting up to 11 lbs is also invaluable as I often weigh ingredients directly into a cooking pot. It has the highest capacity of all residential-use scales that I could find. Love it. Highly recommend. Oh, and the old scale it replaced? It’s still working after all these years. I expect the same from the one I just bought.

Worth the price for frequent use
Consistent, accurate, easy to use, read, clean and weigh things that would’ve covered the display if it was fixed in place.The plate is attached very firmly and feels like you’re breaking it trying to pull it off, but it doesn’t actually damage anything.Also the rubber fit are very grippy and tall enough to not worry if the surface is a little wet.

Great kitchen scale
This scale is really easy to use! The digital screen display pull out is very handy when using large bowls, no overhang to obstruct your view. I tested it for accuracy and found it to be right on the mark. Easily stowable in my kitchen drawer. I have had several scales and this one is my favorite so far.

Great accurate scale
I bought this to replace an older scale that was starting to show inaccuracy. This scale is made well and designed intelligently. I appreciate the slide out display, learning from the frustration of not being able to see my old scales reading with a larger plate or pot on it. Kudos Oxo, my go to kitchen gadget producer!

Another great OXO Kitchen device
I owned an earlier version of this scale and liked it some much I bought it again. Other one still going strong. Just needed it at another location. One of the best features is that the display panel can be pulled out so you can see it when oversized dishes are on the scale. Plus display is lighted. Big easy to read numbers. Easy flip for OZ to grams. Worth the little extra cost vs the cheaper options out there.

Works well but it came with dead batteries
The scale is just what I wanted but it was annoying to have to buy 4 batteries before I could use it. The ones it came with were dead

Hi All! I purchased this item December 2023.I had never used a food scale for baking before, but a new recipe book called for grams. I ordered this one as the brand has a good reputation and had good features such as a pull out display. The scale was super easy to learn how to use, and has a super handy tare function. It is also not too big and fits just about anywhere for storage. All in all, I am super happy with this purchase and would recommend without reservation. Good job, OXO! Cheers!

Very useful product. Buttons could have been less clunky and labelled to indicate functions but otherwise itâs a good addition to your kitchen especially if you like to bake.

How much for some kitchen scales?!! I persuaded myself to buy these based on positive reviews and generally good experiences with the OXO range. They are very good. Accurate, responsive, large enough top plate, they are everything my old cheaper electronic scales were not. I bake quite a lot of bread, and they’re great for those purposes, and also weighing individual food stuffs and liquids. They are expensive, but this is a good set of scales. If you can afford to treat yourself, is recommend these.

The scale broke after 2 months of infrequent use. I used it maybe 4-5 times at all, but last time when I switched it on, the countdown stuck at 1. There is no reset button and it cannot be switched off, it just became unusable.
