It’s What I Wanted
I use this to divide hamburg purchases into quarter-pound patties for freezing. Trying to use a spring and pointer kitchen scale in the past gave me uneven results, especially if the pointer was sticking during tare tension adjustments or adding or subtracting small amounts of meat. The icons above the digits on this scale are small, I need glasses to set it up for ounces as opposed to grams, grains, or whatever the other many choices are. Once I used it the first time, set-up was not needed again. Now I press the left-most button for power, and after putting one of the included trays lined with waxed paper onto the scale, I tap the right-most button to zero the tare weight before adding meat. I can get repeatability within 0.01 ounce with no guessing. I love it.

does its job well
great little kitchen top scale, easily stored in a drawer or cabinet and handles quite a bit of weight for its size. I use it for my Sous vide cooking and weighing ingredients for baking. Can readily measure grams or ounces of any type of product from meats to powders or herbs and spices.

Great Coffee Scale
I purchased this scale exclusively for measuring out coffee when brewing from fresh ground whole beans and it was a great choice.Product and build quality are excellent. Instructions are included and clear. Two covers are included: A smaller cover protects the scale’s weighing platform and associated sensors/transducers from transportation and storage damage. Flip it over, tare it, and it serves as a tray for loose items (like coffee beans). The larger cover protects the entire unit. It’s battery powered by two included AAA batteries.Weight results are reported on a decent size blue LED display and easily read to tenths of a gram/ounce. Four buttons for various functions surround the display and control power, tare, imperial/metric selection. Those buttons are difficult to read since the buttons are black plastic and the button function is molded as a raised relief into the button. That characteristic stands as the reason for the one star deduction.Without a set of calibrated weights, I can’t measure accuracy so I’ll use consistency as a guide. The bottom cup of my manual coffee grinder consistently tares at 86 grams +/- a few tenths of a gram likely from varying amounts of ground coffee residue. After grinding beans and measuring with agram-graduated measuring coffee scoop (15g in this example), the scale read 100.2. Close enough since I do not need pharmaceutical precision; It’s just coffee.Final Thoughts: If you’re a coffee aficionado and think you need to spend uber bucks on a dedicated, coffee-only scale manufactured to the strictest tolerances, be my guest and spend your money. The reality-driven “rest of us” will do just fine with this unit. It earns a “BUY” recommendation from this reviewer.

Works great!
As a crochet/knit designer I needed a small scale that I could take with me on the go. I always seemed to need a scale when there wasn’t one handy to weigh my yarn, design, project etc. Works great for what I needed

Smaller then anticipated
I knew it was going to be small, but not that small. I bought one at walmart for only $8 that was bigger but I do like that this one came with the little tray thing
