There is nothing negative to say about this most mundane, yet extremely useful little container…
Perhaps this review is a bit over-the-top for a plastic storage container, but these silly little TakeAlongs have improved many aspects of my life, especially in 2020 when I’ve had ample time to contemplate situations that I would not normally consider…I recently purchased these perfectly-sized 1.2-cup containers to freeze a variety of homemade soups for a sick friend who had little to no appetite. These containers are so user-friendly — no difficult lids to break fingernails or spill contents when wrestling/prying off or snapping on (especially with arthritic hands). The easy screw on/off lids don’t leak and have a useful coin-edge texture around the edge making them easy to grip, even with wet hands. They are the perfect size for making jello cups, storing baby food, sauces or salad dressings-to-go (remember they don’t leak), and freezing small portions of prepared foods, and are useful for storing small craft items, nuts & bolts, anything! They will hold exactly 1 cup of food and the .2 cup space leftover at the top allows expansion space. They wash very well in the dishwasher, easily stack when filled or empty, and seem to last FOREVER. A great value.

Perfect size for leftovers for lunch!

Very good product.
Have older ones from long ago. Bought new ones and they pretty much match my older ones. Great little tubs for storing left overs. My hubby uses for saving his last bit of ice-cream left in the ice cream carton. Versatility, value for the money!

Great travelers
I like These for myself, but especially like them for when I make a meal for someone else. Thereâs so concern about liquid-y stuff spilling out of them as they get transported.I only give them a 4 for âeasy to cleanâ because, although theyâre top rack dishwasher safe, they often flip filling w water so I just wash them by hand. Regardless, great little containers!!

Just right size, easier to clean shape, easy on/off secure lid
These twist on lids are more secure than the snap on lids, especially for anything with liquid, and easier to get on and off – snap on lids are either a bit of a struggle to pry off, or they aren’t as secure, or the inevitable bending that takes place as they are pried off will eventually crack them somewhere (especially if used in the freezer). The screw on/off lids don’t have that problem. These are my favorite storage containers, and the 1.2 cup size is a perfect single-serving portion, not too big, not too small. I like the small ridges on the edge of the lid and the cup to grip while turning. And finally, it may seem like a small nuance, but I like that they are a smooth round bowl shape, which is easier for hand washing (I don’t have a dish washer) – a quick round swish inside gets it clean, without having to focus on ridges, corners or nooks and crannies, such as the Glad or ZipLoc comparable containers (yes, the ridges where the holding area is molded in are slight, but a careless swish while hand washing can miss food that may have dried on along those ridges and I always feel compelled to run the cloth specifically along every ridge – it’s a small thing but a nuisance that adds up when you hand wash everything, and a nice thing to NOT have to do with these perfectly round interiors of the Rubbermaid version).

Perfect!
These are just the right size for leftovers for my family of two. I use them in the freezer as well as the fridge. Each holds half a can of things like coconut milk and diced tomatoes.

Great little jars for snacks/small portions so you don’t accidentally overeat and feel like garbage later on. I also like to dehydrate fruits and whatnot so they’re great for storing those as well. Solid twist-on lids that don’t leak.
