It works
It works and convenient, but I wish it could hold a little bit more bc you can only load the content up to half way of the product and it’s not a big product.

This Ganiza portable blender gets the job done when making my protein smoothies that I just add water or milk to. I was using a shaker bottle before the Ganiza and would still get lumps in my smoothie. This blender works like a charm and my smoothies taste so much better and has a smooth consistency! I just did the quick double-click on the button and my smoothie was ready in 20 seconds or less.I made a second smoothie where I added 1/3 cup of frozen cherries, 1 cup of water, and a scoop of protein powder. The blender ran through one cycle on the quick double-click mode, and it blended to a nice and smooth consistency as well.On the third smoothie, I used one frozen banana cut into small chunks, ¾ cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, a scoop of protein powder, and about a quarter cup of small ball ice, and that’s when I ran into trouble where the smoothie didn’t blend completely. I made sure that all of the ingredients did not pass the 300 ml line inside the cup to prevent overfilling, and there were still little ice chunks and banana left when using the ice crush or pulse mode where you hold down the button long for 2 seconds.I did end up running the cycle three more times on pulse mode while shaking and tilting the cup at an angle, so all of the ingredients did not sit directly onto the blade, and that seemed to make it blend more easily. I then added more milk to the cup after blending to thin out the consistency. There were little chunks of protein powder that I would suck up when drinking through a straw, which wasn’t unpleasant and still drinkable, and I just ended up chewing them in my mouth.I did try using the blender on the ice crush mode with about half of the cup filled with just the small ball ice. It did work pretty well, but I still had chunks of ice toward the top after the cycle had finished.One feature that I really like that stands out about this blender is that the main body is waterproof so you can rinse that part directly under running water, which is a game changer! Just be sure that the USB socket is tightly secured before cleaning so no water will get into the socket. You can also wash the blender and cup by adding a drop of soap and filling up the cup to the 300 ml line, seal, and blend away! Super quick and easy.I wanted to mention that my wife has also used the Ganiza to blend canned diced tomatoes into a puree for sauces, which worked very well, as well as making a spice blend using nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, celery seed, turmeric, salt, pepper, and crushed bay leaves, which all blended nicely into a fine powder. The bay leaves blended down all the way into a powder, which I was very impressed by. She also made an everyday salad dressing in the blender with EVOO, vinegar, dried shallots, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper with great results.The blender comes with a storage bag and a 12-cube silicone ice tray, which is a nice bonus. I think the main takeaway is that you need to not overload, be patient with the blender, and help it along by shaking and tilting it through multiple cycles, especially when using ice or frozen fruit. This blender, though, is excellent for blending sauces, dressings, and liquids, and I would highly recommend this blender just based on that. I am curious to see how well it will blend flax seeds. I will try it out when I purchase more and will report back.

Much smaller than expected, does not work for long
I will say, I do really like the look and feel of it. It’s very sleek and I love ice tray. But the product is very small, the blender part takes up a third of the cup, leaving not a lot of room for liquid. It worked well for a few days but now has some trouble blending and is overall not so great. Disappointed, it’s such a cute item.
