Disappointed!
I have had smaller and larger blenders. I make a smoothie for breakfast most mornings and found that I needed a 20oz, so I searched it out. I hadn’t heard of Bear, but got good reviews and thought I’d give it a try. This a perfect blender for single smoothies. I don’t use ice, because I use all frozen fruit, and they all blend very well and the smoothie is cold and smooth. Haven’t had a lump of unchopped fruit yet.After I wrote the review above, my blender has stopped working. Yesterday, while making my smoothie, smoke started appearing from the base. My smoothie was completed, so I pulled the plug, put it on its side and left it there to cool down. This morning it worked for about 10 seconds and stopped. I only purchased this blender a few months ago and thought it was great for my needs. Guess not!Okay, so I got in touch with Bear and Vicky in Customer Service had a new blender at my door in 3 days! That is great service!! Hoping to have this blender for a long time.

It is great for smoothies
I have been using this around a month. I make smoothies every day with frozen banana and frozen berries and then whatevers in the fridge, usually fresh ginger, carrot, apple and some vegan yogurt. It blends it nice and smooth and I have no problems with it. I also only 4 or 5 times make some ice for the coffee but it struggles a little with that unless I add the liquids with the ice cubes and then it is OK. For my purpose it is great. I like that it is solid and glass, I don’t mind rinsing and dont care that it is not for the dishwasher as I prefer to have the solid build and the thick glass jug. I recommend.

Not the Best but It Works
I expected more power out of this blender given the fact that it plugs into a wall. Itâs not very powerful. It has a hard time with frozen fruits so I didnât try ice in it. It takes a long time to blend the frozen fruits – even when pulsing it with juice and emits a burning plastic smell. I will be returning mine and just spending an extra $20 on a better one. This one is not durable. Itâs very cheap looking and feeling. Itâs also really hard to get the silicone ring out to wash it, plus no part of it is dishwasher safe. Probably my least favorite blender Iâve ever owned but it gets the job done, kinda.

Works good
The size is perfect for my counter. Donât have a lot of space. The blender is very compact and a good size. The two speeds are good if the first one doesnât blend it up fast enough switching to two does nice little machine very gift for any college student or anybody who loves smoothies.

A very great blender, not too loud, however, it just started licking from the bottom after 18months use. Thank God it has a warranty! I would buy it again. I really love the blender. A very nice looking blender!

Great customer service
Edit: customer service reached out and said i may have just gotten a dud and refunded me ! Thank you for great customer service. :)I could tell from the very first use that this thing was going to die out on us. It lasted a couple weeks and of course the morning that I was the busiest it died in the middle of a smoothie. The motor sounded super loud and it had since day one a chemical burning smell. I thought it would go away and if I took care of it and stopped the smoothie and start again that I could make it last but didn’t even hold up a month. Save your money and buy a better one. Super bummed.

Flimsy and weak
Tried to make your basic smoothie, nothing special, and this blender was obviously struggling. I had to keep stopping to redistribute the ingredients just to make it start blending again. Yeah, itâs inexpensive, but what is it actually good for? It feels weak and unsubstantial, and also within seconds starts smelling like the motor is burning, probably because itâs struggling so much with performing basic function. Definitely a disappointment.On the plus side, itâs fairly small, and easy to clean.
