Work great
These chews really help calm my dogs down. I have inherited 2 dogs after the loss of a family member and Iâm using these to keep things calm while they get integrated into the family with my 2 dogs. Makes nighttime much better as the 2 new guys are finally sleeping through the night instead of pacing around looking for my family member.

My furry son loves these calming treats.
My furry son loves these. They’re solid but soft enough to crumble easily and add to a cat’s meal. When my little buddy is feeling nervous or riled up and needs a little extra help feeling calm (when ample play and affection aren’t enough), I give him a third of one of these treats and it seems to help. He loves the fragrance and flavor and gobbles them up when they’re in his dish. We’ve found they’re especially helpful on those days when neighborhood noise or holiday celebrations (hello, fireworks!) can stress a little purrson out. Good value for price, too. Recommending to parents of cats.

My cat won’t eat them alone/Not very effective
I have an EXTREMELY hyperactive cat, and was very hopeful that these would allow me to get some sleep (think zoomies routinely at 3am, sometimes lasting for 2+ hours). I’m working remotely and my son is doing Distance Learning, so even in the daytime, it is quite distracting. Our fur baby is still fairly new to our home, as we just adopted him less than two months ago, but we struggle to find the time to give him the attention he needs during the day, and I think it goes without saying that zoomies in the middle of the night are stressful. We’re talking slamming into walls, knocking things over, jumping, falling…I’m constantly worried that he will get hurt. So I had very high hopes that these would help to calm him, but unfortunately the results were minimal, at best. They seemed to help briefly after the first time, but after that, little to no effect. He also hates the taste (and this is a cat who eats every other kind of food and treats given, and we’ve tried a wide variety), but I was able to easily crumble them into his favorite wet foods. I was just hoping for convenience in a treat combined with results, but unfortunately that isn’t the case with these so far. I might try 3 (I’ve only tried up to 2 at a time so far), but I’m not sure if that is excessive. He’s very young so I don’t want to overdo it. I think these might work for mild behavioral issues/mild anxiety, but for our wild and furry child, it’s back to the drawing board. Admittedly we’re still waiting for the next vet appointment (the vet hospital where we adopted him was very unhelpful, to say the least), but I plan to discuss any potential health concerns at his new vet when we visit. I’ve read that sometimes extreme behaviors like the ones he sometimes expresses can have underlying causes, such as thyroid issues. In the meantime, I’m hoping for a little peace and calm — especially when we’re busy, and extra especially at bedtime. ð½ I plan to try the calming treats with melatonin next (wish us luck with those).

Stinks but works
These smell like vitamin B tablets, which makes sense but I wasn’t expecting them to smell straight up like a bottle of B supplements. They must taste like it too because my hyperactive 18 month old kitten who was a stray and puts his face in anything we’re eating doesn’t like them. I have to crush them and mix with a wet treat. But they do work. Calms him down without making him loopy or goofy (more than normal, that is).

Either my cat is too old, or this product doesn’t work…
I have a 15+ year old cat who’s been with me for the majority of my life. She’s been with me since childhood and when the time came for me to move out of my parent’s place – the cat came with me. However as my cat is getting older, her behavior is also changing. What was once a relatively chill and calm cat who helped me manage my anxiety with her presence and only really meowed loudly/excessively when necessary, has developed a habit of yowling at all hours of the night while I’m trying to sleep, when I’m on the phone and when I need to work (my work involves recording/filming, making this meow-bombing very inconvenient). The cat also has a clean bill of health, making this new behavior doubly strange…Granted, I fully accept the cat has her own anxiety: she had anxiety during the initial move, she’s the only pet in the household, she’s become a cat living with 3 or 4 humans to a cat living with one. My work either involves me going out to work or bunkering down at my computer doing work for hours at a time, but the classic “just spend more time with the cat/make her feel special” hasn’t been too effective at stopping the yowling either. She has a full bowl of food, full bowl of water, plenty of toys she doesn’t really use (again – older cat) – so what’s with the loud meowing?I figured now would be the time to get calming treats – if this cat loves anything, it’s food (and treats are cheaper than an air diffuser). Sadly, these treats were the first result and I’ve come to the conclusion that either the treats only have a 50% effectiveness rate or that my cat may just be too old for these treats to be effective…Some nights, she’ll get a single calming treat before bed and I sleep like a baby without getting woken up at 4am by meow-bombing. Other nights (even after one or two treats), I’ll be hearing the song of her people… Even while trying to work during the day, the treats can’t seem to keep the cat quiet or calm enough – her cute, normal, healthy meows replaced with howls that can’t be healthy for her and throw a wrench in our human and cat roommate relationship… No amount of talking softly, petting or bonding with her will stop the meowling.Granted, these treats are NOT a sedative – I didn’t want a sedative for the cat. I just wanted a treat that had the right ingredients that would reduce whatever feeling is making my cat howl and cry out for the cat gods of mythology. But again: these treats’ effectiveness might just be a coin flip or my cat is just too old.As it’s my first time using calming treats at all, this has been pretty discouraging and while I will continue looking for something that can help my cat and prevent her from meowing herself sick – I’m going to be a lot more apprehensive about it and won’t be buying these again. I’m just happy she seems to like the taste – so at least they’re still functional as normal cat treats for her.

Helps calm my kitten down
It works well but it takes a while for it to keep in. It has a terrible smell but the cat enjoys it!

Ordered because it’s advertised as six individual pouches, only received one, gave it to my dog anyway to help her and it has no effect even after following instructions.

I started giving 1 biscuit to my cat a day, she is so chilled usually jumping nervously as a slight sound. She loves them practically taking the packet off me. So far do good.
