One star for Avant Solutions seller
This is my second pixel phone. I had the original Pixel 1st gen. I love the Pixel 4.I wasn’t sure if I would like going back to a smaller screen size, but I found I actually prefer this size. It fits in my pockets better and it fits in my hands better. I use to drop my cell all the time while walking and I believe it was due to the fact that it too large for my hands and it just kept slipping out.I gave the battery life a 3-star because I am not impressed with the longevity. But full disclaimer, the only phone I was impressed with concerning battery life, was my old apple 5s. I think apple makes superior batteries.Also I noticed, you take a hit with battery life the more features you utilize. So all the new features that Google put into this phone from the older models, reduce battery life. So since battery life is more a priority for me, I don’t use the features because I. Wouldn’t be able to anyways later in the day because my phone would’ve died. So that kind of sucks, but overall it’s something I can overlook, since features aren’t the number one thing I’m looking for most of the time.I gave 4 stars for face recognition. It was working perfect for the first week, but for some reason once I started doing updates, it wouldn’t recognize me at all. I deleted the data and redid it and it’s working again. So we will see if it stays accurate. At least it was a quick fix. Other than that, it works everytime.One star for the seller Avant Solutions. They obviously didnât check the phone too thoroughly. The selfie camera doesnât work and I found that out while doing a zoom job interview. Thanks. Didnât get the job obviously. Super inconvenient as when you return a phone you then canât access any of your account because they verify you with the phone number. Never will buy from them again.

It was a first time for me to buy an amazon renewed cell phone.I was very nervous as I was reading mixed customer reviews.Then I realised that it might be a reason there for such inconsistent feedbacks on received phones.And when I compared those reviews I’ve noticed that there are different suppliers / companies behind, that are doing the actual refurbishments and checks on those phones. So I looked for the one with the best ratings and CellTastic came up as a one on top. So I made my choice based on that. And when I have received my phone I could not believe in what excellent condition it arrived. I know Amazon advertise that there should be no visible defects or scratches when you hold the phone in your stretched arm. But with this phone that I’ve received I could not find any scratches even holding it straight in front of my eyes. It looked like a new phone. I even asked my wife to check and see if she can find any defects. But all she could find that gave away that this phone was not a brand new one – was a bit of a dust in the bottom cut outs for the speakers.So after that I started to look for any imperfection in its performance. Put my sim card in to make sure that the phone is network unlocked- and it worked. Made a phone call to check the speakers and the microphone – and it also worked. Played some music in order to check the dynamic speaker- and all loud and clear. Camera is unbelievably good – works no problem!The battery to my surprise is also fine – holds no problem.So, honestly the phone looks, feels and performs like new.The only difference is that the phone has arrived in a generic box. But I didn’t mind that.As I did discover inside that box the full speed charger that charges the phone rapidly.But the biggest bonus here is how much money was saved without any sacrifice on the quality of the product.Well done to Amazon and CellTastic

Battery life on standy is great, on active use it will last about half day.
I needed a backup phone for a recent overseas trip and chose this phone based on previous good experience with Pixel phones. Plus the “free” photo backup makes it great for taking on vacation and uploading photos for safe keeping.This arrived in a nondescript box with a charger and sim-drawer pin. It was mostly charged upon arrival. The front glass is in very good condition, as is the back. The camera also looked great.Actual usage experience: I wasn’t using the phone constantly, only would pull it out occasionally for photos or to look up details on a restaurant or to use the maps app. And yet it would frequently be almost dead by early evening on these regular use days. I ended up bringing along a charging cable and plug so that when opportunity arose, I could top up the battery on the go.Now, back at home where I’m not using it, I find it can go more than a day on standby. So it’s not clear to me why the battery with average usage was so poor.Overall it was a great value at the purchase price, and I’ll be keeping it.

I was desperate for a new phone so I bought a refurbished phone from MJ but in my haste I didn’t notice the 90 day warranty, which isn’t great when spending almost $300 after tax. The phone worked well (besides terrible battery life) for just under 5 months. At the 5 month mark the phone started to crash/reboot anytime I tried to use GPS (Google maps or WAYS), make a phone call on speaker phone, watch a video, or record a video. I reached out to MJ to see if they could help at all only to be reminded of the 90 day warranty and then brushed aside. Poor customer service and unreliable product. I don’t recommend buying a refurbished phone from this seller.

El producto llegó con la parte trasera despegada. No entiendo por qué no checan antes de realizar el envÃo. Obviamente no cumple con las caracterÃsticas estéticas. Además comenzó a calentarse recién lo encendÃ. Sinceramente no recomendable. Lo devolveré.

Lamentablemente algo agridulce la experiencia del Renewed, esperaba ciertos detalles pero como dice la descripción, que estos no fueran visibles a un brazo de distancia y algunos no se notan como por ejemplo unos ligeros rayones en la pantalla de estos nada profundos que solo se ven si los buscas a la luz del sol (los cuales no me importan, con el cristal templado es imposible verlos y sin el casi que también) también trae un par de manchas en la parte trasera y la que esta cerca del modulo de la cámara se ve mas en persona que en la foto, además de un golpe en el marco de la pantalla cerca del puerto USB Tipo C que noto cada vez que lo voy a conectar. El funcionamiento es excelente excepto por el detalle y esto si me preocupa, es que siento que se calienta mas de lo que deberÃa y que no es normal, si hago la devolución este seria el motivo básicamente, las bocinas estéreo se escuchan muy fuerte y aunque solo he subido el volumen muy alto para probarlo, a veces hay distorsión al volumen máximo, pero en verdad llega a un volumen muy alto. Todo lo demás funciona perfecto, viene desbloqueado, cámara, pantalla, fluidez, la respuesta táctil, desbloqueo facial muy rápido, duración de baterÃa en mi caso alrededor de 5 hrs de pantalla encendida un poco mas un poco menos depende del uso. Editare si llego a devolverlo o me lo quedo si deja de calentarse. Actualizó. Me he quedado con el teléfono ya que el calentamiento desapareció a los pocos dÃas y los demás detalles no me parecen lo suficientemente importantes para la devolución, ni los noto. Excelente teléfono.
