Works Well
Iâve been giving my dog 3 of these a day(she is 61 lbs). She has a bad knee but loves to run. She used to limp when she was done running and playing around. She doesnât do that anymore. Great purchase plus my dog waits patiently every morning to get her treats.

Helped my 13yr dogâs hips and legs SIGNIFICANTLY!
Totally recommend! Definitely worth the money to help my aging dog (cheaper than a vet visit in our situation). My dogs getting older. His body is starting to fail him and he is still young in his head. He started having a hard time getting out of his dog bed. Then started having time going up and down stairs. He started to fall on the steps because he just couldnât make it with his hips. Heâs about 70lbs and we had to start carrying him. We didnât let him do the steps at all.We started with 1 senior joint treat and 2 regular dog treats in the day. Iâd say in about a week we noticed a significant difference. He was able to get out of bed without the fight of getting up. We kept the steps blocked off and didnât let him go upstairs for a month unless we carried him. After that month of religiously giving him 3 total joints daily. He was able to start doing the stairs. We do put a harness on him to be able to grab him if he falls and hold onto it on the way down without applying any force (we just let him walk).Heâs doing so much better!! I truly believe these made a huge difference and made him more flexible. We can tell a difference if we miss a day or two (he gets a tad bit weaker). The senior treats donât seem as tasty to him tho (and heâs not super picky). The regular ones he likes a lot better. He also doesnât have many teeth, but they are soft enough for him to chew. We have cut back to 2 (one of each or two of the regulars) on most days. ((Per the instructions on the back of the pack)). We still give him 3-4 on his really bad days. If heâs having a bad day we try to make him rest a little more for a couple day/week (meaning not being outside and running around like a pup with unless energy).

Smell isnât great but they really help
I previously bought milkbone breakfast vitamin soft bones to give my dog and when they stopped making them this year I bought these. I knew my vet likes cosequin too. Took a few days for my dog to eat them without hiding them in his food, the smell is quite strong. But now he eats them just like he ate the other ones. He is 15 pounds so instead of giving him 1 whole every other day I have him 1/2 daily. My vet said this was fine to do. My shih tzu is 13 and will not go up and down the stairs to the second story of our house anymore. But he will still take the 3 steps to go outside and we bought dog foam steps also from Amazon for him to use for furniture. He is doing great and I think the milk bone vitamins and these have played a big factor in that.

smells like death but my dog loves them. and it seems to be working
still in the first month but so far our 13 y/o pitt mix seems to have more spring in her step. i first opened the package, took one whiff and said “she’s not going to eat these”. instead, she loves them. her appetite seemed to improve almost instantly, and after a couple weeks it seemed like she gets out of her bed a lot quicker in the morning and seems to have more energy. going to order more.

Not a youngster anymore, but incredibly mobile!
I have a rescued 45 lb. mix-breed. I’m not sure of her age, as she was an adult with a litter and in very bad physical shape when brought in. Best guess is 12-13. She’s had a number of injuries including broken bones. The first time my vet mentioned this product, I gave it to her prophylactically, and she seemed lethargic and slower, so I stopped it. A couple of years later, she started having difficulty getting in and out of the car, so I re-started. She has been on it for over a year and is amazingly agile. She has not regained much playfulness or interest in chasing squirrels or chipmunks, and prefers wandering around, sniffing stuff in the woods. We go on a daily hour-long leash walk so I can get my exercise. She is able to get on the bed or sofa without missing a beat. Her skin is better, too. I think she probably had a yeast problem, which is now gone, by the lack of strong doggy odor. (I can’t say. for sure it has anything to do with Cosequin.). She can climb up and down a steep river bank with no problem. She likes the taste. I’ve seen no quality problems. She gets one per day, so each bag lasts 2 months. I have them on subscription purchase with Amazon, one month ahead so I won’t run out. I’m also very happy with the price compared to similar products, mostly hard pills, that I’ve purchased via prescription. One more thing: seeing my dog’s improvement in agility and pain , I’ve recently started taking a similar product made for humans, which I hope will reduce my back pain.
