Great for the price
I bought 2 of these for my kids and they’re great little phones. I did not put service on them. For now, they just use them on WI Fi to play on apps and Kids Messenger and it works great for that. I really need to look into the parental controls for this if it even has any. I’ve been considering using using one of the parental control companies like bark or to be put on these phones, which I hear should be easy. Overall sound and video quality are fantastic. And the kids hook up to WI Fi wherever they go & I am able to talk to them. So product is a winner for me. Just need to remind them every once in a while to delete the apps they don’t use, then not to take a whole bunch of videos. I’m undecided on the fingerprint reader as it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. The kids just use the pattern and I don’t want it using face.

Broken upon arrival
This was broken upon arrival, This was for a new phone for a very anxiously excited 14 year old. I had to make do with the two broken protectors. He wanted to use the phone the same day it arrived with the protectors. He wanted to put the screen protector on, but I insisted to help him as I knew they were already going to give him issues being broken. They were useless. I still have the other one. I didn’t think there would be any point in getting a refund.

Phone works well, but wrong service plan.
The listing for the phone says that it is locked to tracfone. I bought this for the tracfone plan as it’s affordable. BUT i got a Verizon locked phone instead, which wasn’t in the budget I had for my sister’s phone. Now she’s currently waiting for a phone plan because of either a false listing, or an honest mistake. If you’re someone who has low income, and NEEDS their phone to be through TracFone in order to afford service,,, do not trust this listing. However! if you’re fine with the possibility of getting the wrong locked phone, the phone did come in great quality and is working well considering the model.Can’t speak to the protection plan as i thankfully haven’t had to use it yet, I did purchase that though and will update my review if needed.Fingerprint scanner works well, but I wouldn’t recommend actually utilizing their face scanner. Samsung hasn’t really caught up to that, and it especially doesn’t work well with the low end camera’s the A models have. I wouldn’t recommend the A13 unless you have a tight budget. And for $50 it is a great phone. Having a name brand phone like Samsung is always nice, and not always possible at this budget. You are getting what you paid for though, so keep that in mind when thinking about performance. I enjoy their phones a lot but if you have the money to spend, I would always recommend a Galaxy S model over the Galaxy A models.
