Great first impressions!
I bought this blender for my mother because there was a great Black Friday sale price, I have had a Blendtec blender for more than 10 years now, which is what Iâm comparing to. Overall this Vitamix is definitely quieter, and there are some very user friendly bits of industrial design, the power cord can be coiled and stored underneath and the master power switch is in the front with an LED that illuminates when the blender is on. Only made one cold drink so far, their whole fruit orange juice, very happy with the blender consistency/performance. The unit is larger than my Blendtec in every way, something to consider if you have limited counter space. Iâll update the review with more after Iâve made a few different recipes!

Blends Very Well!
The best blender Iâve had. Worth every penny! When you blend anything it blends so well there is no need to strain it. It is a little noisy but yo get used to it. The blender cup fits 64 oz of liquid which is so necessary sometimes when you are blending for a big size meal. I recommend this to anyone who uses a blender often.

Factory reconditioned Vitamix Blender – works awesome and saved a bunch of money! The kit was shipped directly from the Vitamix factory, with the only noticeable difference being a shortened warranty period, but should not be an issue. The Vitamix blender is simply a beast! And we love the larger 64oz container.

Low price compare to other current Vitamix models.
I like over all. Looks like low price Vitamix model. With 3 years warranty. My only question.. Is this really 1500 watts 2.2 HP motor?This particular model I am getting only recondition. (Not in new condition from Vitamix) And in the exploration series there is no 2.2 with1500 watts motor. But it mentioned 2.2 hp. Specifications pdf also not clear on this model. It will be great if anyone post real watts on this.So far I have used frozen smoothes with tamper. Results are very good.Itâs is louder than other models when we observe in my friends home model. They are using v1200 ( Costco model) and v1200 blow the air surroundings like a blower when it operates.The one what I liked⦠1. Blue light underneath. It is bright and looks really cool on granite countertop it attracts who ever enter into our kitchen.2. Color is shine black which is another beautiful look.3. Price.The best place to buy things are always Amazonâ¦IMO.

Worth it.
We looked at VitaMix blenders for ever but then would stick with our old cheap one. These are worth the money and that surprised me to say that. No more chunky smoothies.

Total Disappointment
I’ve never been more disappointed in a product. After years of hearing about how great the Vitamix is, I decided to invest in one. I was really looking forward to those thick acai bowls! I was coming from a nutribullet pro that I have used for the last few years to make acai bowls with frozen blocks. It required some coaxing but did the trick. This Vitamix requires a SIGNIFICANT amount of coaxing to get the acai bowls to blend and I wind up with a halfway melted base of acai every time. It seriously can only “try” to blend for about 4 seconds before getting stuck and I have to rework the product with the stick or by taking off and stirring product. I am adding enough liquid – it just does not meet the hype it terms of power. It SUCKS. I know I did not buy the more expensive one, but this one does not even do what my nutribullet pro was capable of at a much lower price point. This is a frustrating piece of equipment and it makes me angry I spend the extra money on it every time I use it. I am not one to write negative reviews but this warranted it. Truly regret buying this product.

Great Christmas Giftâ¦
I gifted my 80.5-year old Mother her first Vitamix. AMAZON had a SPECIAL sale that was within our tight budget.She absolutely loves it!My only complaint is sometimes a burning smell appears after use and the Vitamix will automatically shut off. After some time of cooling itâs ready for use.I strongly recommend purchasing this product.

Rock solid performance. Truly a blending champion. The wider jug is more shelf / cabinet friendly, so bonus there. However, something to keep in mind of you are in an apartment or townhouse⦠this sucker is LOUD! Donât plan on making any soup at midnight unless you want a knock on your door from your neighbour.Put on your noise canceling headphones and enjoy!

Tried the soup challenge, threw raw veggies in the mixer, and let it do its magic. I was disappointed by the amount of noise the machine made, worse than a Cessna 152 plane!At the end of the 15 minutes, the soup was interesting but there was dust-like powder of carrots on the bottom of the Jar.Unfortunately it was not for me.
