Best Oil on the market, wish it came with a pump
I did a lot of research before purchasing fish oil for my dog. Time and time again, Pet Honesty came up as the most potent and efficacious option. My dog loves it and I am already starting to see a shinier coat. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with a pump. It is hard to dispense from this bottle without getting drips down the side, and since the product is stinky and oily, that’s not ideal. I was able to buy a pump – just search for pumps that fit a 1″ mouth bottle and lots of options will come up. Having a pump has made it easier to dose too. Despite having to search out and buy a pump separately, I will continue to purchase this product. There are so many fish oil supplements out there, but this one is clearly the best.

Watch when you shake the product
My dogs like the flavor and have no problems with the product. However, my 16 oz of Fish oil did not come with a pump only a pour top (I think that is what it is called). When I shook the container as recommended, the oil went everywhere. I mean everywhere. The top is of poor quality. I have nothing against the actual product. The ability to dispense easily is essential, too.

Effective and easy to use
My dog is a 13 1/2 year old boxer and she has been recieving pumps of fish oil on her food about once a week for 2 years now. When I began giving it to her, I gave it to her every night. At first she loved it, then she started to not eat her food and didnt seem interested. I started giving it to her once a week and it has worked as she loves getting it as a sweet treat now. I seriously notice a huge difference in her joints and coat when she has this supplement vs when I forget to give it to her for a while. I can tell when I have forgotten and when she needs more fish oil, which shows it sincerely works! Love this product and will give it to all the dogs I have in my life!! Thanks Pet Honesty.

My dog will NOT eat it!
My dog will eat lettuce, fallen bird seed and nuts, even some fruit, but she REFUSES to eat this, I don’t know why Like I said She eats anything! I just want to say the “chew” is a great size, but crumbles, so it is hard to break in half, I can be very sneaky when hiding a pill or flea chew, like in a bread and cheese sandwich, and of course the old double hand trick taking a treat in both hands and letting her see there is another one, but she will not eat a pill pocket, or ham and cheese sandwich with this. As you can understand she is NOT a picky dog at all, but she’d eat a leaf before she ate this. Too bad they don’t accept returns, cuz away it would go! Now I have a Huge bag of pill pockets with no pills to put in them also. I wouldn’t recommend if you have a tight budget, I am going in for a vet visit, and will go by what the vet suggests is the best way to get my dogs skin in better condition. FYI, I don’t feed my dog bird seed, or freeze died fruit, she has eaten those thing while outside while I am changing out the other critters food, and I have stopped her, she eats dry food.

Product content has changed
This is maybe my 5th ever review, but I want to alert others of my findings. Iâve been using this product for several years and it has made a huge difference in my dog! Especially in her coat. I have a lab and she used to get awful skin problems but now, since using this oil, she has no skin issues at all! It was a 5-star product!My issue now:You can tell in the photos which is the old (the oil lines lol) vs new. On the Amazon description of the current product, they still have the old numbers listed that you can see in their photo, but that is not what I received. Specifically the EPA percentage is now half. They are also comparing 1.8 ml (original) to 5ml (new). It used to be much more concentrated. Also, no pump was given, which was so convenient when adding to the food because you didnât have to measure.Iâm hoping the new formula works just as well. If not, I will be switching to a different brand.

this fish oil is totally odorless. unfortunately my cat doesn’t like the taste and i don’t want to force her.it comes in a big bottle and is really good value for the price you are paying.
