Love this!
My previous donut machine broke right when I was in the middle of making orders! But Iâm so glad I was able to order and receive this machine within the same day! SO much easier and better to use than my other donut maker! dash never disappoints with its products. Itâs easy to clean and love that it doesnât latch so the mini donuts are actually able to rise bigger (depending on the recipe your using)

I have wanted to get one of these for a while now but just never got around to it. Finally I decided on this one (thanks Amazon review family) and let me tell you. I LOVE IT!First impressions, the color blue/aqua matches all my other retro-y stuff which is the same color. For some that might not be a thing but for me it is hehe.It heats up very quickly and even on a first time heat up there was very little to no “new device” smell.The first thing I tried was using both a lemon and a chocolate cake mix. I was looking for a substantial amount of mini donuts and a flavor choice.The instructions suggest flipping at about a minute and a half and then cooking for up to another 3 mins. I noticed the chocolate mix seemed to cook a bit faster. Also, after doing it a couple times you kind of get a sense of when to flip them.It recommends using a toothpick and I can see why! I didn’t have any so had to use a skewer and it did make some holes when flipping. So I will invest in toothpicks for future batches.The donught holes don’t come out as holes (maybe this is a learning curve idk) but I solved that problem with a simple cone loader (if you know you know) the hole is the PERFECT size to punch out the donut holes lol.Even with only making a few at a time, it’s a simple task and before long you have a LOT of donuts. One cake mix box will make idk, maybe like 30 of them? It’s hard to say because we were eating them as fast as I could pump them out!They come out not really like donuts, more like little mini cakes and are quite delish. Overall a total win 10/10 recommend

Great Fun
I like how many do-nuts at a time. Easy to use, and very fast. There is no temp control to speak of. It works great on ordinary cake mixes, you have to do trial and error. Great fun. Makes about 3 doz out of 1 box of cake mix. The Great Grands had a real good time decorating them.

Tedious but worth it
First, my maker arrived first with a broken footing requiring replacement. The second maker arrived with an indicator light that never turns on. I kept the second one anyway. This little donut maker does cook the base donut well using the included recipe. But, the toppings are what make the donuts delightful. The instructions involve using a plastic bag to pipe the batter into the wells. Unless youâre a pro, piping is a big waste of time as it is a big mess. Instead, just use a spoon to fill each well then move the batter around and off the center with a tooth pic. Youâll find you need to do this after the mess of piping anyway. The donuts are delicious and so cute after fully decorated, but without the added toppings, the plain donuts are not desirable.

The kids love it!
I purchased this for my kids as a Valentines Day gift and they love it! It comes with a recipe book which is easy to follow. They’ve made donuts at least three times since purchasing and don’t require any help at this point.

Works great for making healthier donuts
I love their waffle iron so I figured I would give the donut maker a shot as well. Works great for making healthier baked donut recipes. These are quite small though so it takes quite a while to bake a full batch. I found using a large wooden toothpick to be handy for flipping them half way through the bake to get consistent browning.
