The Safer Home Indoor Plug-in Fly Trap is a small but powerful solution for big insect problems. Whether you have flies, fruit flies, moths, or gnats, you can count on this trap for effective insect control. Simply place in any outlet near where you’ve noticed insect activity, and it will immediately begin to attract and trap insects. Its versatile design allows you to plug it into any standard outlet and rotate the trap as needed. The trap is the ideal choice for homes with children and pets. The Safer Home Indoor Plug-in Fly Trap generates UV LED light which naturally draws in a wide variety of flying insects. Once insects are drawn in by the light, they get stuck fast to the StickyTech Glue Cards, where they are securely held until the time of disposal. Trapped insects are hidden on the back of the StickyTech Glue Card, so you and your guests never have to see them. Each trap provides up to 400 square feet of coverage so even large rooms are protected. The Safer Home Indoor Plug-in Fly Trap was designed with ease of use in mind. Simply peel the backing off the StickyTech glue card and insert it into the trap. Plug the trap into a standard outlet near common insect hotspots, including near houseplants, exterior doors, pet areas, in kitchens, bedrooms, and other areas of your home. Allow the trap to run continuously for 24/7 protection. The trap is also reusable. Replacement StickyTech Glue Cards are available for continued protection from insects.

Customers say

Customers like the effectiveness, ease of use, and appearance of the pest control device. For example, they mention it catches the tiniest flying bugs, is simple to set up, and looks just like a night light. That said, opinions are mixed on stickiness, performance, brightness, value, and gnats.

    Highly recommend
Great product! I had a minor infestation of gnats in my kitchen last year. As soon as I saw some flying around this year I did some comparing and decided on purchasing this product. It is effective as well as reasonably priced. The number of gnats and small flies it has trapped has been alarming, to say the least. I hardly have any flying around now and I am extremely happy. It also has a pleasant glow and is nice to have as a night light. I am going to purchase a second one for my bathroom.

    This product is amazing!
I didn’t know that I had so many gnats (and perhaps other tiny flies?) in the master bathroom and my office. All I knew is that it seemed that there was something that was doing a “drive-by-bite”, and it was so fast that I could never see it, hence I could never catch it. I recently killed a couple of gnats in the master bath, something I hadn’t seen in the first 2 years we first purchased this home, so I feel like this problem is new.I started looking into how to fix the situation, and I knew right away that I was not interested in creating a whole bunch of contraptions of apple cider vinegar with sweeteners, etc, to catch these. I didn’t want jars of liquid all over my house. So, as usual, I knew someone on Amazon had figured out an easier way, and here we are! Now, I definitely need to figure out the root cause, but in the meantime, the solution offered by the Safer Home gnat/fly trap is fantastic. At first, it seemed to be slow going, but within a half hour, one gnat was already on the card. I thought, well, that was probably the one who had been continuously biting my feet and legs! Later, I saw another stuck on the card and then didn’t see much action for a couple of days. Days later there were a couple more…and more! I was thinking, yes, yes, invite all of your friends and family! And it seems that they did. Within 2 weeks or so, the card was nearly covered!Occasionally, I will turn on the light in the bath and find one or two crawling along the edge, or dancing behind the card, and then it jumps on the card and back off. It’s fascinating! If one is running along the edge, I will help him meet his fate sooner, and if not, he will eventually stick to the card with everyone else. What I do notice though is that in the afternoon one gnat (or two?) wanders into the office where I am working after I’ve closed the light-blocking curtains to block the heat and sun. (I guess they are drawn in by the lamp?) So, now I am wondering if I should put another Safer Home trap right on my desk, or by my legs because all of the drive-by-biting makes it difficult to concentrate on what I’m working on.For anyone who says “it didn’t work” may need a bit more patience, or they have too much light in the place where the night light is placed. I placed mine in the master bath, and it’s pretty dark in there, but there’s no door to the main portion of the bath (only where the toilet is). I thought that the light from the gigantic sliding glass windows in the office would affect how the product worked, but it hasn’t. In other words, too much light coming in from elsewhere wouldn’t draw the gnats to the UV light in the bath, but this must not be the case for my master bath.I am so thankful for this product, and I recommend it!P.S. I have attached 2 pictures of what the trap looks like in the master bath with a bit of light filtering in from the big windows in the office. It seems that if you can get your space at least this dark, this product will do wonders for your space – and your ability to concentrate while working!!

    Works great, just not fast
I am very satisfied with this product. It works, but if you’re looking for a fast solution, this is not it. I’ve had it for a few weeks, it is still catching the fruit flies. I can’t complain, since the glue card is full. I have 2, one in my kitchen and one in my bathroom. It’s the kitchen one that fills up, the bathroom one takes longer. I like the design of the unit, it’s modern and fits in to decor. Also, it’s handy that the unit can be swiveled around from the plug, so it can fit literally anywhere, even if upside down. I bought more glue cards, the generic is totally doable. Overall, great, effective purchase and I’m looking forward to being completely fruit fly free very soon.

    Works fast without chemicals
I bought this device to get rid of fruit flies and flies that always seem to get inside our house. We seem to always have fruit flies because we like to have fruit out to encourage everyone to eat it. Within hours of plugging it in, this handy little device worked like a charm where I caught two annoying fruit flies. It works without any chemicals and is very simple. It’s a light and a replaceable sticky pad that traps bugs the same as fly paper would. I highly recommend this product.

    Keeps the gnat population down
Bought this since I had sink drain gnats. I cleaned my drains but that didn’t get rid of all of them. I plugged in one by each sink. The first night I just caught a couple, but after a week both traps were full. I even caught a couple moths and a fly. I noticed a gnat by my table today so I figured it must be time to change the sticky pads and sure enough they were full and needed to be changed. I like the dim blue light it puts out it makes a good night light. Worth every penny.

    I Love This Thing!
It’s rare to find an item that exceeds expectations, but this little plug in bug catcher WORKS. I won’t share more gross photos of all the gnats and such it’s caught in my home, but let me just say “ewwww!” I plugged one in near by potted plants and by the next morning, the glue trap and caught a killed over two dozen gnats! I mean, they were in my house which totally makes me barf. If you have indoor plants, get this. I like to leave my windows open for fresh air, so all kinds of things fly in. I ordered three more and placed them all over, and they are catching so many little buggers. This thing is the real deal. IT WORKS!

    Great for fruit flies
I live in Southern California and with so much rain this year we have lots of fruit flies around and they bite! 🙁 We’ve tried everything – cider vinegar, Terro traps. They kind of work but looking for something that would be more effective. Bought 4 of these and they are GREAT! You can see how many flies they catch. I read the reviews and most said it was good for smaller insects so I can say it works for small fruit flies and small moths. Not at all sure if it would catch larger flies. But for what I need it’s perfect. My ONLY complaint is that these work based on the light attracting them. So, they don’t work during the day. It would be great to but a scent in them that attracted the flies (like a Glade plug in) PLUS the sticky surface. That way the scent could work in the daytime to attract them. Otherwise good product.

    It works!
Best part it’s not a big item to have around the house. No sound and it’s easy to plug and use! Catches most of the flies, pro tip turn off the lights so they can get attracted to the purple/blue light. The refills are expensive though so I use a different brand
