Simple, Compact & Works
I honestly don’t even know what the other 3 settings are for on this. I just use it to quickly and accurately get a tire pressure reading on my car tires.It does this fast and easily, and even has a small light on it to help you find the valve if it’s dark outside.The first time I used this, I checked the readings that this gave me against one of the old three pressure readers that the stick with the number will pop up once inserted, and the numbers were spot on every time.

This gauge replaced a similar type gauge purchased a few years ago. Have used this gauge a couple of times. The pressure reading looks to be accurate. It’s easy to hold and use on tires. Readout is clear. And it’s nice it uses AAA batteries versus watch type batteries the previous one I had used. Pleased.

Lights Up and Reports PSI
I like the fact that it lights up which makes use even easier. It does record and show the PSI, which is why I purchased it. Not absolutely sure of the accuracy. Will take it with me to a tire shop to compare. Haven’t done that yet. Stay tuned.

Good gauge for the money
I bought the 2-pack of these, one for my garage and one for my daughter to keep in her car. After a couple months of use, I’m satisfied that this is a great product. It’s accurate and the lighted tip and backlit display make it much easier to use. I’ve used it on cars, bikes, and my riding mower with no trouble getting a good seal (as some others have mentioned). I definitely recommend it and I’ll buy it again if I need another.

I have purchased two of these tire pressure guages. One is terrific, gives an accurate read out of tire pressure, compared to two other guages I have. The second, and more recent one I purchased, reads about 6 lbs under pressure! Unfortunately for me, I did not test the more recent one until today, therefore, the return period has closed!! I’m very disatisfied with the accuracy of the second unit and with the inconsisancy between the two. If I purchase one again, I will be certain and check it for accuracy immediately upon arrival so I don’t get stuck with another one that is unusable.

Easy to use and accurate
Comfortable to hold. Some but not much air escapes when inserting and removing the gauge, about 0.1 PSI. Easy to read 0.1 psi increments. Using AAA batteries is what drew me to this gauge. Not sure how accurate it is though. It reads 3.3 PSI lower than another manufacturer’s gauge I’ve used for years that required small button batteries which were expensive and difficult to change but did not allow any air to escape. This AstroAi gauge reads lower than all of the other gauges I’ve accumulated over the years. 1-3 PSI lower.Also, I secured the smallest little zip tie to the bottom of this gauge to enable me to to depress the tire valve to let air out as warmer seasonal temperatures increase the pressure. A small nub could easily be manufactured at the factory.04/13/2024 updateI contacted AstroAI inquiring about the PSI reading difference I experienced with this gauge compared to my other pressure gauges. Their customer service quickly replied and sent me another new gauge overnight. The second AstroAI gauge reads exactly the same as the first one I was sent. I am completely satisfied with this AstroAI tire pressure gauge that uses AAA batteries and completely satisfied with AstroAI customer service. I am confident that this gauge is accurate and highly recommend it.

Edit 04/30/24: The manufacturer reached out to me and offered to replace the item or issue a refund. They stand by their product so I’d buy without hesitation.This tire pressure gauge was great until it wasn’t. For the first couple years I stored it inside my home, only taking it outside when needed to check bike or auto tire pressure – and it worked great! After doing some organizing last fall I decided to store the pressure gauge in my garage where the temperature gets a little cooler (obviously) and when I went to use it this spring it would not register any pressure at all. The light came on, the digital readout showed zeroes but no pressure would register. I changed batteries and tried again – still nothing.So, if you store this in your car (or garage) for all four seasons (where it gets cold) I am assuming it may not make it through those cold weather months. Looks like I’m back to an analog gauge which I can count on anytime anywhere. Really liked this while it lasted but unfortunately it’s no longer a workable option.

I checked its accuracy against the TPMS on the car and they correlate. It’s very easy to use both in terms of switching between measurements (PSI, Bar etc), and actual operation. Back lit display is useful if working in a dark garage, or at night.

Ich habe für alle Reifen einen kleinen Akkukompressor, dessen Benutzung aber insbesondere bei den Fahrrädern nicht immer notwendig ist. Zumindest unsere Fahrräder verlieren recht schnell ein paar Zehnten BAR, die mit einer guten Handpumpe schnell wieder aufgefüllt sind. Dieser Luftdruckprüfer ist gut und einfach handhabbar: Zeigefingertip = Einschalten, aufs Auto-/Schraderventil drücken, was bei mir sehr gut geht, ohne dass allzuviel Luft entweicht und Wert ablesen, der nach meinen Vergleichen mir dem bereits geprüften Kompressor, sehr genau ist. Das geht nicht immer auf Anhieb, bei zu viel Gezischel bleibt die Anzeige â0â, aber man hat den Dreh schnell raus. Das Gerät schaltet nach geschätzten 10s selbstständig ab, so dass die Batterien sicher sehr lange halten werden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und empfehle das Teil uneingeschränkt.
