Best primer I’ve used!
People talk about this being a “tacky” primer. I haven’t personally felt any stickiness. I do think it sticks to my foundation, though. This primer is water-based, and work really well with my silicone-based Laura Geller Double Take powder foundation. Without this primer, the foundation separates and settles into my pores after a few hours. I can rescue the look by pressing my face with a beauty sponge. With the primer, I need no touch-ups through my normal work day! I use half a pump, and press it into the areas I want staying power. Also, my skin does feel like it’s drinking in some cool water. Feels really nice, but doesn’t last long. Definitely recommend!!

Surprising
Iâve never used anything like this product before, but my hubby was complaining that sometimes my makeup was coming off onto his clothes so I decided to give it a shot. Boy, did it surprise me with how well it worked! Putting it on took a bit of getting used to, and it seemed like I needed to use more foundation than I usually did because it stuck to the primer so well, but Iâm pleasantly surprised at the results. I have added primer to my daily makeup routine and have been overall pleased with it.

It works
I love it when I get a product that actually does what it says says itâs going to do. I added this to my morning makeup routine. I put it on after moisturizer and right before my foundation. Let it sit for five minutes before adding your foundation. I can use this in the morning and my make up is still set in the evening. I love this stuff.

Takes some trial and error
I have dry, sensitive skin and tend to go for hydrating primers. Smashbox discontinued my favorite primer and Iâve been on the hunt for something new.Honestly, the first few times I tried this primer I hated it. It felt like I was slapping Elmerâs glue onto my face (hence the âgripâ). After some trial and error, I found a way to make it work. I use a TINY pea sized amount and press it into the skin, only on the areas I need coverage. It feels less tacky this way, and this amount of product is all it takes to help my makeup stay all day. I use with the Rare Beauty foundation and Hourglass concealer and it works beautifully.Would recommend- just use sparingly if you donât like wearing glue!

Never have I used a primer as good as this one! From this day forward, this is the one for me! It goes on very smooth & not only hydrates my face but keeps my makeup put all-day! It f els amazing! If you like to use a primer, this is the one you want to use!

never changing primers AGAIN!!!
Iâve only used this once & I just had to write a review. I started using Elfs putty primer not too long ago & I thought that one was good. Still had creases & an oily face by the end of my work shift but I figured that just happens with makeup no matter what. Then I got this one & wore it from 7-3 at work. By the time I got off & in the car, my face still had a fresh airbrushed look to it, like how it does when you first finish ur makeup, of course with a few shines here and there, but barely any creasing (smile lines are my biggest issue especially being in customer service having to smile all the time). Its AMAZING !!!! Its sticky after first applying but I prefer my primers that way. I definitely would reccommend to anyone wanting to keep their makeup looking fresh & long lasting.

I purchased this for a festival in Florida. Someone recommended it and I can confirm that it is hands down the best primer I’ve used. I paired it with elf dewy coconut setting mist and my makeup stayed put for over 12 hours during 24-35ºCIf you’re looking for your makeup to stay, make this part of your routine!Both pictures are roughly 12-14 hours after application.

Idk why it took me so long to try this primer. Itâs amazing! I have oily and acne prone skin and this made my makeup look so good!
