This is a very good foundation and a good price.
This Almay Smart shade foundation is true to color on tube and blends easily for a light foundation. It also does not irritate my very sensitive skin.

My new fave!
I wanted an easy to apply lightweight foundation for my 40+ skin. This has some SPF built in, which I like, and itâs really moisturizing on my dry skin. So much that Iâve skipped my moisturizer before applying and didnât notice. Iâve got dry, olive skin, and this comes out almost white, but as soon as you put it on, it matches my skin beautifully. If I just want a little skin evening, I just put on a light coat and away I go. If Iâm looking for more coverage, I just layer a bit more. I always finish with a light brushing of mineral powder and it stays on all day and covers imperfections really nice! Doesnât make my fine lines look amplified which happens with a lot of others. All in all Iâm really loving it and itâs my new go-to!

Great daily foundation
I love this product. It is so light and airy and gives just the slightest shade coloring. It is easy to apply, and spreads nicely. It also lasts for almost all day. It would be perfect if it had some SPF (I think the version that isn’t anti-aging does, so I will probably switch to that version now that it’s getting warm out).

Doesn’t cover by itself, need to apply layers and use an additional concealer2. If heavily applied, the color is not a perfect match (mine was too yellow); use it sparingly for better color blending.————————————————————————————-The “After” image includes using additional stick Covergirl concealer for better coverage of brown age spots. Overall, this foundation is ok in a pinch but did not give me the coverage I was looking for by itself. Instead, I bought Fiera concealer and used as a foundation (which costs about $5 more than this one). The Fiera works well for my aging skin (much thicker and provides better coverage). If age spots are not your concern, this foundation might be all you need. But if you are over 40 and need something more, I would suggest you look elsewhere.
