Almost Perfect
The only thing I dislike about this product is that the holes are too big for sprinkling – especially on the salt. The pepper can be âdustedâ a little easier, but I cover up two of the holes for the salt and sprinkle very gently. If the holes were smaller or maybe had a âscreen likeâ mechanism over the holes they would be perfect!!âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

A handy little set to have, very easy to refill.
So as far as salt & pepper go, this is a handy set to have on hand (or fill out an order when there are Amazon promotions on like the ‘buy $50 worth of Amazon brand groceries & get 20% off all the Amazon branded grocery items you buy’).The included salt is sea salt & it is not iodized. I prefer the flavor of sea salt to iodized salt, but if you have trouble getting your RDA of iodine, you might not want a salt & pepper set with un-iodized sea salt.The included pepper is the very common & popular fine grind black pepper.Both have the appropriately salty & peppery flavors.The containers are clear plastic (not glass), they have removable black plastic screw off lids with shaker tops covered by flaps in the lids. It’s not difficult to refill them if you want to reuse them & it’s not too difficult to take the labels off if you plan on storing something different in them (they are decent for storing a modest amounts of spices or seasonings)This is a handy set to have as a backup like kept at an office / office kitchen for when you eat meals there, or in an RV/camper/trailer or boat kitchen.It would also be a good set for a college student to have in their dorm room.The shakers might be a bit big for backpack camping especially when your trip is short & you are trying to spare some weight, but you could take them on a family picnic & they wouldn’t take up much room in a picnic hamper.I would buy these again as they are handy to have & reasonably priced.

Too large for sprinkling!
Usually I’m happy with Happy Belly products but not so much with these shakers. The holes are way too big for these shakers. Notice the comparison with the holes on the Morton shaker salt which are just right. There’s no way to use a “little” bit of salt with Happy Belly’s unless you pour it into your hand first and get a”pinch” of it with your fingers which would be an obvious waste of salt. I’ll stick with Morton’s in the future.
