Look new despite being renewed!
This was my first purchase of Amazon Renewed (back in 2020) and I must say it was a pleasant transaction. I would definitely consider buying Amazon Renewed again and do recommend it. The iPhone arrived without a scratch or blemish. It was like new! The phone worked perfectly until 2024 when we upgraded. The phone was passed down to my daughter who hasn’t had issues with it. Buy without fear!

Great Iphone – No Flaws and Works Perfectly
I am pleasantly surprised in the condition of this Iphone 11 Pro Max given that it is rebuilt/refurbished. It came with a nearly full charge, was well packaged and arrived the next day after ordering it. There are no visible scratches or defects – it is as good as a brand new phone, except not in the original packaging. It even came with a screen protector already applied!

Bought one and it broke like right away (which shouldn’t be a surprise when you buy the cheapest iPhone 11 pro you can find). It was out of the packaging, and I had been using it already when it broke. They still approved the return request quickly. Great communication and customer support. If you’re looking for a good cheap option for a phone and want trustworthy people, these are your guys.

Looks Good Now, Will Update Again Later
I have MetroPCS so itâs usually a lot more cost effective to buy an unlocked phone on Amazon and take it over to get activated. Iâve done this for about 2-3 times now over the past couple years. This phone arrived within a week and upon examination appeared to be in decent condition, with the exception of a few scuffs on the corner of the phone and some scratches/ swirls on the screen (see pictures). I also noticed that the small circular speakers at the bottom and very dusty and filled with dirt and who knows what else. You would think that if youâre paying $300+ for a phone the least they could do is clean it thoroughly. Upon turning on the phone, I got a notification saying a part in the phone was not a genuine Apple part and could cause it to not function properly. In all the phones Iâve gotten, this is the first one with that kind of message. Battery health is good so Iâm going to clean it properly and try it out for a few months and see if thereâs any further issue with the screen or anything else. Iâll update in a few months to see how it holds up. Pictures included of all the items called out

Is Renewed Premium worth the extra money?
Update (12/17/23): Additional observations: 1) the Amazon Renewed certification card is marked 10/27/23, and when I received it 12/2/23 (about 5 weeks), the battery was completely dead; 2) after charging back to 100%, I put it in airplane mode (to turn off both WiFi and bluetooth), and also put it in battery saver mode; I checked the battery percentages once a day, and it was losing 10-15% per day, so this battery is very weak. I did a parallel test with another iPhone (11 pro max), and that one only lost 10% (100% > 90%) over a week. This is an excellent test to check the true condition of the battery.Update (12/15/23): Ordered a 5th Amazon Premium Renewed phone (iPhone 12 Pro Max), and the battery life, which should be above 90%, is actually 88%.Update (3/28/23): After lengthy discussions with Amazon, they will not honor the 90% battery guarantee stated on the Amazon Premium Renewed page, because it is “not stated on the Amazon invoice”. 1-star, no longer recommended.Update (2/1/23): Ran into some issues, probably things that should be checked upon receipt of a renewed or premium renewed product: 1) battery life [below advertised 80 or 90%], 2) parts replaced, either with genuine or non-genuine Apple parts, 3) overall functionality [defective charging port]. Reducing overall rating to 4-stars.Summary: Upgrading from an iPhone 7 plus, and decided I would go with the 11 Pro Max version. I was on the fence whether the extra money for the premium renewed is worth it, so will be discussing what I considered.Observations: The high level basic differences are: 1) about a $100 difference; 2) three vs. 12 months return period: 3) battery level of 80% vs. 90%.Recommendation: After considering the factors, I decided to look into how much a replacement battery would cost, which is $40 right now. However, starting with the iPhone 8 (i think), Apple started sealing the cases, which requires a heat gun to separate the case because of the extra waterproofing adhesive. To breakdown the addition $100 cost, subtract the $40 battery from that, leaving $60 for an additional 9-months (or $6.67/month) to “insurance” to return the phone if issues come up.Carrier Lock: I decided I wanted an unlocked version, and that appears to be another feature that is included with Premium Renewed, with the majority of carrier locked versions being offered as renewed only.Conclusion: For the additional $100, I elected to go with the Renewed Premium. I rate both the Renewed and the Premium Renewed as 5-stars. Nice phone. The price was fair
I finally had to put my iPhone 6s Plus out to pasture. I had to place a magnet on the camera to stabilize the screen so I could scan and take pictures. The IPhone 11 Pro Max I received was in great condition considering it is 5 years old. I did the data transfer like a pro, and it was very easy. So easy a 72 year old man who has never attempted such a feat got it dont with very minimal effort. It was promptly shipped and was in excellent condition when I picked it up at the local Fedx terminal. Iâm very happy with the vendor, and my purchase.
