What is Coco Coir Pith?

Coco coir is a natural and renewable byproduct of the coconut industry. Rather than going to waste, coconut husks are recycled as a growing medium for plants and gardens!

What Makes Us Unique?

In addition to maintaining strict quality standards, Plantonix products are organic and essential for healthy plant and root growth, with no chemicals or fillers.

How Are We Helping the Environment?

Coco coir contributes to the preservation of peat bogs, vital ecosystems that act as carbon sinks. By using our soil amendments, you’re growing a brighter, more sustainable future!

????【Why Use Coconut Coir Pith?】- Coco Bliss is an environmentally friendly and sustainable growing medium that’s 100% natural, organic, and harvested from the bi-product of coconut production! Coco coir is ideal for ensuring low EC and pH levels when growing plants, seedlings, cuttings, and herbs in indoor and outdoor gardens!
????【Premium Coco Coir Growing Medium】- Coco Bliss from Plantonix is the perfect way to add nutrients and moisture to gardening soil! Coconut Coir Pith helps retain water for longer, reduces soil compaction, and acts as a growing medium for microorganisms that break down organic matter!
????【Improves Aeration and Soil Drainage!】- Coco Bliss is naturally light in texture, allowing it to create air pockets in soil, so plants can absorb more oxygen. Coco coir increases the permeability of the soil, which helps reduce plant stress from floods, dryness, or lack of moisture!
????【Saves Water and Helps the Environment!】- Coco coir helps with water retention and drainage, so your plants don’t need to be watered as frequently. All Plantonix Coco Bliss is eco-friendly and biodegradable, making it a great choice for sustainable gardening practices!
????‍????【Great for a HUGE Variety of Uses!】- Coconut coir pith is so much more than just a growing medium! Add it to reptile bedding, cat litter, compost, worm bedding, or as a mushroom substrate! Coco Bliss from Plantonix can also be used in place of peat moss, since it adds the same benefits at only a fraction of the cost!

    Great seed starter mix
I’m a big fan of this coco coir. It’s an integral part of my potting mix for growing seedlings and it works wonderfully. I add a touch of perlite to it, which makes it nice and fluffy. My plants absolutely thrive in it. This product is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Thank you so much.

    High quality coir. Lovely stuff!
I use coir for gardening, vermicomposting, and growing starts. These are coir blocks. There’s not a lot to note in description especially if you’re familiar with this wonder. I’ve used well over a dozen from these folks and not once found chunks of unprocessed materials – which has happened with far more pricey garden center single blocks. They enthusiastically (QUICKLY!**) and comprehensively rehydrate and it just makes me happy every time. This coir rehydrates without any greasy residue on water surface or odd smell, which I’ve experienced with lesser quality products. This means I felt, and continue to feel, secure using it in my vermicomposting as well. For me, this is a soil addition that’s *well* worth its cost in hanging on to liquid gold – water. This helps my container plants especially – as I live in an area where triple digits are the norm through the growing season. A generous addition of this means the difference between twice or single daily watering on the small containers which has several benefits. For anybody unfamiliar with coir, I find it also makes a much better medium addition than peat for starting seedlings. In my local climate peat moss plugs dry out too fast and well, making unhappy seedlings in their water repellant cubes. For the seedlings I do purchase, a little cocoon of this all around helps the roots grow past the peat = and then they can find water. So I’m here once again to stock up for next year because this amazing, versatile, RENEWABLE product also doesn’t expire or go ‘bad’, you just need to keep it dry. Not that getting it wet spoils it, but it might do in the container.**The rehydrating thing- if you haven’t used this stuff the blocks expand a LOT and a small bucket won’t do. Even a 5 gallon bucket should be watched and keep the brick upright! Rehydrating goes very fast and the brick will want to fall over and before you realize it’s capsized…. It is capable of deforming the bucket into an impressive oval before it shatters. Trust me. 😉😁

    Perfectly done
Convenient to use and measure as each brick is already weighed and individually wrapped – and cleanly, so it doesn’t dump crap all over your carpet if you happen to open the carton inside. The coir itself is finely and evenly shredded with no chunks of lumber or foreign debris. TLDR: Good stuff!

I use the coco for mushroom substrate
Always testing new coco coir for mushroom substrate when there are deals I can say coco bliss is a quality product that you don’t find rock or mold growth in it. It’s always packaged well, I always sterilize my coco but I have used the bucket tek with this brand and didn’t get contamination. Like I have with other coir brands. That’s why I always pasteurize or sterilize properly with any coco coir now but this is the best I’ve found so far. Beside the bricks being off on weight 50 grams or so sometimes.

Consistently good, will continue to use!
I’ve bought these cococoir bricks several times over the course of a year and they’re perfect for what I need them for. Works really well for my seed starting mix and I have experienced zero contamination issues or gnats when using for mushroom substrate. Each brick expands a LOT and does a good job at holding moisture. One order of this really goes a long way for me when gardening. Will use in the new greenhouse as well.

    Great for seed starting
I mix my own seed starter soil and this coco coir is the perfect eco friendly medium. I like the blocks because it’s the perfect amount and it can be difficult to cut a piece if you purchase the larger block. Each block grows 10x its size so there’s a lot of bang for your buck!

Easy to store, easy to hydrate, excellent product
I picked up the mushroom growing hobby, like everyone else, and it’s really fun. It’s also really confusing sometimes and the number of products out there now is just mind-boggling.I bought these coir blocks because I don’t have much storage space, and some of the other products come in larger containers/boxes. This is thin tall box and the coir blocks are about the size of a brick. I can take them out of the box, put them in zip lock bags and store in a couple of different locations for ease of use and access. There are instructions on how to hydrate, but I found it easier to just run water over the coir brick and rub it with my hands over my substrate bin. When it won’t come off any more, I run a bit more water over it and repeat until my bin is to the proper fill level. Works great! Then I can add a little water if it’s too dry, but don’t have to squeeze any water out (thumb arthritis in both hands makes squeezing really difficult and painful.) I grow in very small batches for just myself, so this method works for me.I did hydrate per instructions and that worked fine too. Make sure you have a bucket or tub large enough – the brick really expands when submerged in water.Overall it’s great deal – if you always keep gardening stuff around and already have vermiculite, these bricks are perfect.
