Improved over old model it is replacing.
Easy to set up, it is pretty good at moving air around, noise level isn’t bad at all….It seems to be built pretty well….Something nice is the grilles seem to be sturdy and fully secured….The box fan I had before this was weak in comparison, and a lot louder for what it was, and the grilles were flimsy and rattled…..Including when the fan was on….And this fan has instructions for fuse replacement….The other one indicated you had to send it in to the repair center if it got bumped and thus tripped the fuse…..So this is an improvement from my other fan….Nice improvements over the old model….More than just changing the design to look different….It seems built better, more power, over the old model.

I was iffy at first since itâs a different brand then I would usually get, but once I started using it, it is probably the best fan Iâve had, very powerful and not too loud but loud enough for a little background noise.

Great Fan – Came back 3 years later and the price went WAY UP!
I suppose this is just inflation but I bought 3 of these fans for 34.95 in April 2020. One for each room. It is May 2023 and one of the fans (probably the most used in the living room) finally DIED. The other two are still working fine. I came back to see the price jumped! I doubt I would buy multiples again at this price but I liked the fact the fans were black and not white or grey and they do the job they are meant for. I run my fans hard and for hours at a time if not a day or two in a row. Yes I have AC but like circulation in my unit and the white noise to sleep is bonus.

If you’re looking to block out loud neighbors or get some white noise to sleep to; this is a great option. I’ve had it a few years and as long as you clean out the inside a couple times a year of accumulated dust, hair, etc; then it will keep going just as good as new. Provides a great breeze as well. There’s a good range between settings so if you want to tone it down or up, you can do so. Unfortunately for me, depending on who you ask; either my kid or my cat knocked mine over & broke it (they are both accusing the other), so I’m here to buy a replacement. Thankfully I can drown both of them out with this fan

The good:Seems better made than Lasko fan I usually buyProbably slightly quieter than the Lasko. (This could be bad if you want a loud fan)Feet fit into the slots without damaging or breaking them.The bad:Doesn’t blow as much air as my Lasko.I have been a Lasko box fan customer for years. I like the amount of air it produces, which is the most important factor for me. They typically don’t last all that long (about a year or two for me) but they are inexpensive. But I was sick of the cheap feet breaking or bending when I tried to attach them to the fan, so I decided to try another brand.I can’t recommend the Comfort Zone because it produces less air than the Lasko and that’s the most important factor for me. But if you want a solidly built fan this might be the model for you. Seems to be more solidly built than the Lasko, so it may last longer. And the feet won’t break when you attach them, so that’s a big plus.

Using it for the “Corsi-Rosenthal box”, it smelled like a funky plastic and i just thought that might be the purifier filters at first use, but turns out it’s the fan motor or something burning till it cut itself off around 10 minutes.
