Super Easy to Read & Use
The clip holds tightly. The dial has a marker to easily see if you are at your required temperature. Nice and long for tall pots. Very satisfied.

Easy To Use
Clipped thermometer to a pan of cold water. Easy to adjust so that thermometer was half way. Let the water boil. 212 degrees was the magic “boil” number. Thermometer was accurate and didn’t need to recalibrate it. Read the directions it comes with before using. It was a bit difficult to read the smaller hash marks but thermometer comes with a little flag that you can move to your desired temperature prior to putting it in a COLD pot. Works

Amazing Customer Service
Tried to use this on a cast iron dutch oven to fry and the clip wouldn’t hold it no matter how much I moved it up and down the thermometer. It had the temperature at 200 but I could tell that oil was hotter than that and used another thermomter and it was 380. Put this one right into the garbage.Update 1/23/2024 The seller reached out to me very quickly and went above and beyond in customer service.

What a great buy, kind of
I needed a candy thermometer fast to complete my Christmas sweets and this is exactly what I ordered, it was super fast and I can’t wait to make the pralines tonight!!! The Thank You sticker was a great touch. Highly Recommend. If for some odd reason it doesn’t work, I will change my review, so you know this is honest and true.Update: It is quite hard to read the dial and be able to tell when the candy is at the right temp

Candy Making
I bought this while a learn to make candy canes with my daughters.I don’t make a very good candy cane, but not to the fault of the thermometer haha! It works perfectly.

Not 100% accurate but pretty close.
Did not pass boil test 100% but got close enough for my purposes. Itâs supposed to measure 100C at a rolling boil but did not hit 100. Also, when my digital thermometer, which is pretty accurate, measures 158F, this thermometer measures only 150. So, itâs not precise. That being said, Iâm using these for a candle making class with kids which is not an exact science most of the time. I like how the thermometers hang off the edge of my pot with the clips. Thatâs nifty. Arrived super fast and was packed well. I want my students to measure temperature using analog measurements so these suit my purposes perfectly. I would buy these again.
