Cleaning and Maintenance
Once you have finished baking, remove plug from electrical outlet. Leave top lid open so grids begin to cool. Never take your waffle maker apart for cleaning. Simply brush crumbs from grooves, and absorb any excess cooking oil by wiping with a dry cloth or paper towel. You may clean the grids by wiping with a damp cloth to prevent staining and sticking from batter or oil buildup. Be certain grids have cooled completely before cleaning. If batter adheres to plates, simply pour a little cooking oil onto the baked batter and let stand approximately 5 minutes, thus allowing it to soften for easy removal. To clean exterior, wipe with a soft dry cloth. Never use an abrasive cleanser or harsh pad.
Storage
When waffle making is completed, simply store your maker with the cord wrapped securely around base. Plug prongs fit into the special grooves on the side of the waffle maker. For compact storage, stand waffle maker on opening end so Cuisinart logo is facing you. The waffle maker has been designed with a special latching feature so the lid stays closed during storage.
Tips on how to make the perfect waffles
Cuisinart recommends the heat setting #3 for golden brown waffles. If you prefer crisper, darker waffles, increase the browning control to setting #4 or 5. For evenly filled waffles, pour the batter onto the center of the lower grid and close the cover. We recommend using 1/2 cup batter per waffle for evenly filled waffles. Waffles are best when made to order, but baked waffles may be kept warm in a 200°F oven. Place in a baking pan or wrap in foil while in the oven. Waffles wrapped in foil may lose their crispiness. Baked waffles may be frozen. Allow to cool completely, then place in plastic food storage bag. Use waxed paper to keep waffles separated. Reheat in a toaster or toaster oven when ready to use.

Easy to use waffle maker!
Our old waffle maker-a Cuisinart too was on its last legs. We had that waffle maker for at least 20 years and we decided to replace it with another Cuisinart. We were not disappointed! Same style, only updated. This waffle maker is easy to use and easy to clean. I know we’ll get a lot of use out of this one and it will last just as long. Price was great and delivery was fast. Waffles come out golden brown and cooked to perfection.

Great Results as I expected
I bought this to replace the same brand/model that I purchased and used since 2016! Sadly one of the wires that powered the top part of the waffle iron broke after ~8 years of use, probably about once time a week.This replacement worked exactly as I expected out of the box and the brand new non-stick cooling surface is awesome! Golden brown, crispy outside but soft inside – sorry no pics, did not want to waste time before consuming my fresh hot waffle!!

outstanding value, but I wish there was a “beep” when it’s ready for batter or is done with a waffle
This is a very nice waffle iron. I bought chose it over others in part because of the cost, but largely because of the wattage, which is higher than most competitors. So, I expected it to heat up quickly and produce waffles quickly. And, I was not at all disappointed in this; it does a great job, and the price was fantastically low. And, I’ve never had anything stick in the iron. My one quibble: I’ve never had a waffle iron that didn’t make a “beep” when it had reached its working temperature or finished cooking a waffle. Frankly, it never even occurred to me that there wouldn’t be such a beep; every waffle iron I’ve seen has had one. Except this one. And, I really wish it did; I’d happily pay another $5-10 for a “beep enabled” version, so I wouldn’t burn things or have time things. Oh, well. It’s still a great little waffle iron: fast, good, and clean. Just a bit too quiet.

Perfect waffles!
I love this waffle maker! It makes perfect waffles every time. Set the desired waffle outcome and done. You have the option of soft all the way to crispy waffles. If you follow the directions, it does not make a mess. If you do, it’s very easy to wipe clean. The waffles can be frozen to eat later too!

I can say I love this little waffle iron. My waffle iron I had for many years took a dive, about 3 months ago I bought another brand on here and what a headache! I didn’t realize how much of a headache until I decided to look into buying another one, even though I had just purchased the one I had. I replaced it with this Cuisinart and decided to make waffles today. My hubby said he didn’t want any, but when I asked him to look at them, he said they looked great, tasted them and decided he would have waffles! He said they were the best waffles I had made! I was slaving over the other waffle maker just to get them to get any color at all! I like that this one has the dual indicator lights and a 5-setting browning control, and they are done in nothing flat!

Love It
This is my first waffle maker – except for the Dash Mini. After I got the Dash Mini, I wanted to be able to make more at one time but I wasn’t ready to invest a lot of $. So since I have been a Cuisinart customer for many years, I decided to try this one. It is terrific. It does feel a bit flimsy but it works just fine. I have made regular waffles with the King Arthur gluten free flour and I made chaffles. Everything came out really good. It cooks fast. I’m glad I bought it.

This waffle maker is quick to make a waffle and easy to adjust the amount of toast or color on the outside. The light on the exterior let’s you know when it’s ready. I only wish you could remove for easier cleaning.

It makes decent waffles, but cleaning will be a pain
I prefer to take soap and water to clean something, and you can’t remove the plates for that. At most you can use a damp cloth to clean it off (when cool). Also, as others have noted, has a bit of a smell the first few times you use it. Might want to break it in before you cook anything with it.The waffles it makes are big, fluffy, great waffles. It’s just a little unpleasant smelling and I would love to be able to wash it for real.

Positivo: potência e rapidez com que o alimento fica pronto.Negativo: produto tem plug padrão americano (modelo A e B) não é recomendável uso de adaptador de tomada. Tive que usar adaptador para tomada braseira e no segundo uso, iniciou curto na tomada. Tirei rápido mas mesmo assim derreteu um pouco o plug do aparelho e o adaptador. Sigo usando, com outro adaptador, mas agora com certo medo. Não pode sair de perto pra ficar monitorando a tomada e evitar acidente.

I like everything about this appliance: it is slightly smaller than my old Belgian waffle appliance. I bought it to make chaffles in and it works so well to make one chaffle with the full recipe. I like that it is the Classic size as Belgian waffle appliances require too much batter to crisp up the way I like them. I like the adjustable heat option for desired crispness; it is easy to clean up after use and it stands up nicely for narrow storage places; it is a reliable brand, and the price was great. I have used it a couple of times now and the results I get are consistent. Looking forward to cooking other food items in it. It was a great purchase.
