Our Experience: ordered the smaller quantity of DOUXO-3 shampoo because we weren’t sure if would work out for our Maltese. He has been itching, particularly his ear area and licking his paws, and he sees his vet about every 8-weeks for check-ups. Cytopoint every month helps tremendously! And, a 1/2 Benadryl BID is helpful as well. He is on a healthy nutritious grain-free diet [food].STILL, there are airborne pollutants and bacteria and dander, we have air purifiers! So we started giving him 3-baths a week per the Vet. And, we were using a good shampoo [from Amazon] but it was drying him out. ✅So I researched on Amazon, again, BUT this time my findings were different—I found this ✅BRAND ->❤️ ‘DOUXOS-3’ pyo’ shampoo (with Ophytrium 0.5% & Chlorhexidine 3%). This SHAMPOO literally AMAZING ‼️‼️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Like I shared, we have tried some very well known popular BRAND name shampoos and conditioners, nothing was necessary wrong with any of them. Some may have been too harsh, too drying, too medicated even if we only bathed once a week. We did find a ‘holistic’ shampoo favorite but after awhile that was not enough to stop his seasonal chronic itching and licking.So, we tried this ‘DOUXOS-3’ and after just time, although, I shampooed him twice, his itching and licking ‘lessened’ by about 50%. We give him a bath about every other or every third day. He needs it now for prevention.✅this DOUXOS -3 BRAND has different types of shampoos—I thought about getting him the CALM on(for itching and licking) but it did not have the the Clorhexidine in it. And, when I research about the chorhexidine benefits, I realized he needed BOTH! I researched ‘Ophytrium,’ whichHelps support the skin’s physical barrier for supple, hydrated skin andHelps support the microbial flora for healthy skin, helps soothe irritated skin…AND in COMBINED with ‘CHLOHEXIDINE’ helps treat the dog’s skin and effectively manages various coat issues like bacterial, fungus, and yeast and a broad-spectrum underlying causes of skin issues. It is an effective and active anti-microbial ingredient for skin issues like pyoderma, hot spots, rashes, and mange. AND, it was mild enough that it did not irritate my pups skin. His skin and hair were glowing and shiny!!!I would not be taking the time to write ✍️ all of this. Skin issues can be so expensive!! I do NOT want my pup to suffer or be uncomfortable. 🐶❤️Recognizing, this is just one crucial step in my dogs overall healthiness for good skin-care and well-being; we wanted to share our experience, strength, and hope. 💝We really appreciate this shampoo!! 🙏🏼Thank you.Best to you🐶🌷(NOT reimbursed by this company or any company for my reviews.)

Not filled all the way
The soap it self does a great job, I gave it 4 starts because you spend $23 on a 6.7 ounce bottle and it’s not even filled up all the way. I drew a black arrow pointing to the fill line.

Works very well, very fast.
My husband and I recently rescued a cat that has pretty severe skin issues, and this shampoo was recommended by our vet. It smells nice, not overpowering at all. The difference in her skin and fur was like night and day, it worked very well. Will definitely be using it again. It’s a good price too.The vet also told me this, so I thought I’d leave it here for any other pet parents who may be wondering. If you have a pet that has skin issues, but don’t want to buy an expensive shampoo that you can ONLY use on that one cat or dog, this is fine to use on your other pets too. It won’t harm them, and is totally safe to use on pets that don’t have those issues.
