This is awesome!
I started off ordering 2 bottles of the Eco brush cleaner “shampoo.” I canceled that order & ordered only 1 bottle bc after I read the part where it said brush “shampoo” after placing my order. I’d seen alot of dif brands of makeup brush cleaners & have bought dif brands & when I ran out I used shampoo in a bowl & it worked ok. Most brush cleaners weren’t “shampoo”, they were thin & it took alot of it to clean only a few brushes & 2 sponges took half a bottle. Out of all the brush cleaners I’ve used none of them were thick like shampoo & it says on the bottle “brush cleaning shampoo.” This brush cleaner is thick, thicker than shampoo & a little goes a long way, if you run out use shampoo but I believe that the brush cleaner is a little better than using regular shampoo bc it’s made w/ingred that actually break down the oils & chemicals that cosmetics are made of, I don’t think that reg shampoo has the ingredients to break down the impurities & bacteria that can build up in your makeup sponges & brushes. That being said, I had to use it right away & it worked much better than any “brush cleaner” I’ve tried. It came in the mail today. It’s very thick, not much fragrance but is so awesome in breaking down the products in makeup. I washed my sponges & they looked brand new & I havent cleaned them in months. The last time I cleaned my brushes & sponges they didnt come clean, the dif cleaners & shampoo I’ve used I could still see makeup residue on my sponges & brushes. I’ve been saying this lately abt buying cosmetics & anything from cosmetic family like cleaners, any makeup, face creams, lotions, perfume, body oils or perfume oils, etc… If you’ve been shopping from an online/box store where you have a membership & pay those high interest rates please, please check out Amazon b4 buying any of these items. Amazon has major name brands. I have some expensive makeup brushs & some not so expensive but using brush cleaner, it conditions & keeps your bristles soft & they will last a long time. You’ll find something that you prob didn’t expect, I’m almost sure of that. I wish I could do price comparison in my reviews but I don’t think that it’s allowed. I know that you’ll save alot of money in the price of cosmetics & shipping & in interest rates compared to online clubs/ membership fees & when you really like a product if Amazon is out they will notify you when it’s in stock or give you alternative choices. Amazon also has coupon prices so you need to look for that as well. I’ve given bad reviews & sent things back & the return policy with Amazon is great & free, if you dont like it you can always return it!You won’t regret buying this “brush shampoo”, it’s made to break down the chemicals & it really does work.

Decent for the price; better for sponges than brushes
I think this product has a very good price point, and obviously I like that it doesn’t smell like chemicals as many brush cleaners do. It cleaned my brushes pretty well — it didn’t get all of the old stains out, but it did a good job. I wouldn’t use this on very high quality, expensive brushes, mostly because of how you need to use it. You have to be a little more rough with the bristles than you would using a more high end makeup brush cleaner. You also kinda end up getting the whole brush wet, and in order to preserve your brushes, it’s best to try to only get the bristles wet and not the place where it connects to the handle.That being said, I don’t have any high end brushes. Mine are mostly e.l.f. with an occasional amazon brush here and there. So I don’t mind using this stuff. I especially like it on sponges. I used it to clean my very dirty maybelline fit me pressed powder sponge and it is now almost completely white. I also purchase inexpensive beauty blender-like sponges in 6-packs on amazon, and this cleaned those well too. Make sure you squeeze a lot with those; you’ll get a ton of dirty water to come out :).I like this and will purchase again for just regular drugstore makeup brush use. If I ever invest in a nice professional set of brushes though, I’m going to look for something else.

Incredible!
I just received this today and washed all of my brushes in about 10 or 15 minutes. I’m so impressed with the amount of make up it removes. I tried with just water first to see what would happen and as soon as you put the cleaner on it is just a world of difference. My brushes look brand new again.

This product does a good job cleaning makeup sponges and eyeshadow brushes but It doesn’t get my foundation brushes clean.

Very good, yet gentle cleanser. Brushes on the photos are 3 weeks dirty, used 3 times/ week. The 2 bottles last more than 1 year.Cleanser removes all the build up including on the very fine Japanese goat hair white brushes, without damaging them. I use oil to soften the liquid/ mascara build-ups before the cleanser. Also, I may have to wash the brushes 2 or 3 times until they wipe clean on a white tissue. It’s far from a wash and go process, but I found this cleanser as good as the very good beauty blender cleanser for a fraction of the price. I recommend.
