Best way to hard boiled eggs!!
I saw this cutie and said, I need that. Ordered it, it arrived in perfect condition. Next morning I plugged it in, added water using the measuring cup that comes with it. Used the piercing pin that came with it too. Put the eggs pierced side up. Put top on, turned it on. Walked away to do chores around house. Came back later. It had turned itself off. I took top off, let eggs sit in there. Later, I took eggshells off. So easy! No muss, no fuss. Peeled so easy. No more boiling eggs from me anymore. I love hard boiled eggs for breakfast and lunch. So I put them in bags in fridge. Cleaned the bottom where water goes, DON’T put in sink. Or dishwasher! Hand washed the plastic parts. The mint green color is so lovely in my kitchen. I like color. I highly recommend this genius egg cooker. And the price can’t be beat.

My family LOVES this mechanism! It’s an answer to our hard-boiled-egg-loving-prayers. I also like soft boiled eggs but haven’t gotten around to those yet. However, have used several times to make hard boiled and it’s idiot proof, and outcome is supremely better than boiling on stove. 1. no water to boil 2. no pot to clean 3. no hard-to-peel eggs. That’s right! The eggs are peelable, the way you remember eggs to peel w ease years ago, every time! Product is so compact, easily tucks away, takes very little space.For use: fill enclosed measuring cup to fill line w distilled water (or tap, but distilled recommended by manufacturer to prevent mineral debris etc.,) depending on desired doneness. Pour water into base. Place plastic cradle insert onto base. Add eggs (up to 7). Place plastic cover over eggs–notice the vent in plastic lid for steam and direct it away from cabinetry. Turn on machine. It will automatically cook eggs, based on amount of water, for result of hard or soft. No timer needed. Automatically shuts off.To clean: simply wipe the metal base w a sponge and place back in cabinet.Also, manufacturer includes a recipe book for various egg recipes, but shockingly, some for poached salmon, cooked shrimp, and steamed veggies, which allegedly can also be cooked in this gadget. It’s so unassuming and accomplished, I wouldn’t doubt its prowess.

I got this to make boiled eggs a little easier. It’s easy to set up and use. Highly recommend using distilled water so the water pan doesn’t get hard water spots in it, because those can’t be cleaned out (I made that mistake the first 2 times) I’ve used it several times and love the outcome of the eggs. You can make soft boiled eggs or hard-boiled eggs by the amount of water you use. There’s a measuring cup that comes with it, so that part is easy. Set it up, add eggs, turn it on and my hard-boiled eggs were done in 15 minutes. Easy clean up.
