Great little freezer!
So far, we are loving this freezer. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and holds plenty of food. It has a good finish that hides fingerprints well and has been very easy to clean when spills happen. We bought ours as an open box model and got a good discount too, but even at full price, we unanimously would buy this again.

Excellent product, quiet, efficient, no off-gassing
This was a great choice. Looks nice and performs perfectly. I had not correctly measured the spot where I’d hoped to place it, so a temporary adjustment is working out for the time being. Please measure carefully, and do leave air space at sides, top and back (manual recommends 4″). The ENTIRE frame of the freezer is shrink wrapped…blue on the door, clear on the black box part. It’s hard to see on the black part, but it is on there, and is a thick plastic to be peeled away. Once in place, as “the manual” says, I let it set for 24 hours before plugging in, to let the coolant stabilize from shipping and unpacking. Don’t ever turn it on its side. I always read manuals and highlight those things that should be remembered.Before plugging in, the manual says to be sure the temperature dial is on “4” to start. Then adjustments can be made later for more or less freezing. Dial is located on the back, bottom left. Temperature “1” is warmest, “7” coldest. Put on Zero “0” to defrost when necessary.Also, as recommended, I first wiped down the inside with baking soda/water and then dried. There was absolutely NO odor of any kind before or after.When first plugged in, while initializing, the outside of the case gets hot. Don’t put anything on top of it at this time. I set several water-filled cups and items inside to monitor the freezing process, and as soon as I felt it was cold enough, put some of my frozen foods inside. They have stayed rock-hard at the “4” setting! I’m surprised at how much can be placed inside. I have room to spare, and am really pleased with this quiet, efficient little freezer.

Handy Little Freezer with a Few Drawbacks
The freezer portion of my refrigerator is usually big enough for my household, but during gardening season when I want to preserve an overabundance of vegetables and during the holidays when I have lots of leftovers, I temporarily need more freezer space. I ordered this little freezer to accommodate the overflow. On the whole, I am pleased with it. It has adequate space for my needs, conveniently adjustable shelves, cools down rapidly, and maintains a consistent temperature. A minor disappointment is that it has no interior light, so I sometimes find myself using a flashlight to search out the item I want to remove. More important, it is an energy hog. Since installing it, we have seen a slight increase in our electric bill. Finally, it is not frost-free. Defrosting is quick, though. Place a bowl of hot water in the chamber and scrape with a plastic putty knife, and chunks of frost are gone from its walls in jig time. If you need just a bit of extra freezer space, you should be satisfied with this appliance.

So far it has worked well.
I bought this freezer for church to store our ice cream (a group of us get together for a “game day” once a week and enjoy some ice cream) during the two months the large kitchen freezer is being utilized making easter eggs. It kept our 4 half-gallon containers perfectly plus another small item or two. We’ll see how it works when we plug it back in next year, but I expect it will work just fine.

Wobbles and space isnât adjustable
When I first opened up the fridge and placed it in my kitchen it had a pretty severe wobble, which may not be an issue for some ppl but I live on a second floor, I know the knocking of a full freezer rocking back and forth on my hard kitchen floor must be extremely obnoxious for the neighbors below me, I ended up having to cut off a piece of the foam packaging it comes with and wedge it under one of the corners. And yes the film around it is extremely annoying and loud to get off so Iâve just left it on it. I just feel like for over $200 there shouldnât be any issues like this quality wise itâs not a large or impressive freezer by any means. And the cord is pretty short so I canât store it on my balcony which was the intention. And the shelves arenât even adjustable either, like they can come out but they have set places they go. Again nothing too crazy but for the price I shouldnât have to deal with these annoyances I would rather just invest in a better quality freezer

LET IT SIT!!!
When I first got the fridge immediately plugged it in to see how loud it was, as some reviews said it was very loud, while others said it was quiet. I plugged it in just to hear it, and not only was it loud it was gurgling and hissing, and the top was very, very warm to the touch. I was very disappointed, because this was a deal breaker. The directions say to let it stand for 24 hours before plugging in, especially if it was moved and not standing upright. I unplugged the fridge and let it sit. I decided it was too loud and had to be returned. Well,15 hours after leaving it to sit and I guess settle itself, I plugged it back in and it made a HUGE difference, it was like night and day, a completely different freezer It was ultra quiet, it was no longer warm to the touch and I LOVE IT. There is an indentation at the top of the stainless steel fridge door, that I did not do, and I live alone. But that is not a deal breaker. Itâs very cold right now and Iâm excited to start using it. LET IT SIT BEFORE PLUGGING IT IN. The directions say 24hrs, I let mines sit for about 15hrs and it made all the difference. I keep checking it to make sure it is still working. Thatâs how quiet it is. LET IT SIT!!!

This freezer stopped working a couple of months after purchase. The seller Sara Inc does not respond and neither Amazon or the manufacturer will honor the warranty. Do not buy!!!
