Strong, light, and worth every penny and more
I was completely shocked at how well this vac works. Attachments are not special and the cord is a bit shorter than most, but where this thing shines is how well this thing cleans carpet. It’s got great consistent suction. Easy to clean and maintain. If your not looking to use it for attachments trying to vac high up places then this thing is likely better than most $300 vacs. Also the cord was a bit of a issue for me but that was a easy fix. I picked up a new cord from Jerry’s that was much longer and it was a easy swap. You can also just use an extention if you are not comfortable with working with electric wiring. Great great product. Can’t beleave how cheap it is!

I had to give away my Sharp Rocket, which was very powerful and highly recommended to me by a friend, but it was heavy to carry around, it had a small dust collection cup, the controls were not user friendly, at least for this 81-year-old with vision challengesâI had to get the instructions booklet out every time I used it. It also needed a strong hook installed in a wall to store it. So, I started looking for something powerful, but more conventional and easy to use. After reading the reviews, I decided on this Eureka. It is light-weight, a breeze to set up right out of the box, easy to store in a small space, powerful, the controls are intuitive, and it has a large dust collection cup (more than twice the size of the Sharo Rocket). I love it!

Good for what I needed it for
Overall I think this is a great vacuum for its price. Itâs easy to put together and use. Itâs also easy to empty the container and remove the filter. Itâs definitely is light weight, which makes it super easy to carry up and down steps.I am still giving this a four Star because it does the job of picking up dirt off carpet, but I have a few issues with it.1) The suction is so powerful, itâs hard to push it on thicker carpet so I have to pick it up and pull it back when I canât push it forward.2) itâs not good for hard-flooring even though it says it is. It will kick dirt back at you so you have to go over a spot several times on hard flooring.3) the cord is very short. I have a dyson too which is very heavy compared to this, but itâs cord is about three times the length. This makes it a pain to get a large area since you will have to continuously unplug it and find a closer outlet.

Iâm very happy with my new vacuum cleaner. Itâs compact, lightweight, powerful and picks up everything. I honestly enjoy vacuuming now. Itâs easy to operate and clean. Itâs a great purchase at such an affordable price. Wait until you see the dust and dirt this vacuum picks up.

Amazing Suction But Not Convenient To Use
I am in need of a powerful vacuum cleaner to pre-vacuum a room before steam cleaning. My current vacuum cleaner is a cordless type but I notice that isn’t strong enough to pick up a good amount of dirt. After looking at the various reviews and pictures of this vacuum cleaner’s dust cup with all the dirt, I decided to give this one a try.The first thing I noticed when putting the vacuum cleaner together is that it is rather small and made of pretty much all plastic. I also did notice that it has a good sized dust cup. Putting together was straight forward as mainly involved connecting the handle a hose and attachments (like crevice tool) to holder on cleaner. There is a sponge type filter. The filter area is located on the top area of the dust cup.Upon turning on, noticed that the cleaner provides great suction power. I could see some dust filling up in the dust cup along with probably loose carpet fibers (the carpeting at my place is berber carpet). I also noticed that the filter didn’t do a good job at all of trapping in the dust. In fact, I noticed that I inadvertently inhaled some of the dust that got pulled up from the carpet and escaped through the filter area. I turned off the vacuum cleaner and had to put on an N95 mask (have plenty of those around from the pandemic) and then resumed vacuuming.This vacuum cleaner does pull up a lot of dust and dirt. That’s the good. The bad is the filter is rather ineffective. Also, I noticed that after use, my back was a bit sore. Not from the weight but because the handle is not adjustable. I also tried the attachments to see how well they work. The suction for the attachments work but putting them on isn’t an easy fit (not a snap in place thing) and the hose that’s used is rather short. Additionally, the roller doesn’t remove easily. I didn’t remove but instructions in the manual says you have to unscrew about 6 screws to remove roller.Here is what I like and dislike of this vacuum cleaner:Likes:——– great suction power- large dust cup- long cord- value pricedDislikes:———- filter not effective and located at bad spot (dust escapes towards top directed at face)- small (short handle)- attachments not easy to attach- short hose for attachments- roller not easy to remove- no LED lightsAll in all, if you don’t mind the many shortcomings and just want an inexpensive vacuum cleaner that does had great suction, this might do the trick. Otherwise, may be better to look for another one.I give the Eureka Airspeed Ultra-Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner 3 out of 5 stars.

bang for you buck!
This little vac works great on carpet. I have a cat and suffer from allergies, and I was amazed how much this little vac picked up. With a little vacuum like this one you do not have options to raise or lower the vac to change the suction, but overall this is a great way to save money and still get a good clean. And it is indeed very lightweight.

Please do not buy, I bought this, it was not a uk plug, so I purchased a world plug to use with this product, started to hoover it quickly smelt of burning, I heard the plug socket make a noise, next minute there was a pop sound,flames then smoke, I had to run downstairs turn all my electrics off, my children had to open their bedroom windows and we all had to come down stairs, due to the smoke and smell that also set my fire alarm off.I called amazon about this, all they have done is make a refund, its disgusting.Please do not buy this situation could have been worse, its scared and traumatised my children.

Plugged it in and instead of sucking was blowing everywhere then sparks started coming out of the plastic bit at the bottom. Freaked me out. Nearly started a fire. I notice another person had the same experience! Also comes with a American plug so you need an adapter in the UK. I’d avoid this like the plague.
