Great for Calming Cats
Would great for my new kitten. I kept a small kennel open right next to it, and she would often curl in the kennel to sleep.Gave 4 stars for value for money as it is supposed to last a month. It would last only about 3 weeks for me until the bottle was empty and I wasn’t comfortable leaving it plugged in at that time.But overall, great product!

Appears to work like a dream
I have been using this product for almost a month and it appears to be working like a dream. Starting about ten days into use I noticed my cat was calmer, more loving and had stopped urinating outside of his litter box. There is no smell that I am able to detect and as someone who is allergic to a lot of things I have had no issue with having this product in plugged in my bedroom. I am pleased that my vet recommended this product to me to try before throwing medication at my cat. Have placed it on my subscribe and save list so that I wonât run out. Try it and you may just be surprised.

Helps stop my cat from anxiously licking his stomach
My 13 year-old completely indoor cat started obsessively licking his belly fur starting early last year, to the point he was rubbing it clean. It baffled me since nothing in his diet, litter box or circumstances had changed.My vet checked his skin and didn’t see any evidence of mites, but he said since he was doing it evenly on both sides, it was most likely psychogenic – aka, it was anxiety. He recommended a VERY expensive food to help calm him down. When the vet tech showed it to me, I told her it was completely out of my range. She said “You know, it actually just contains something similar to those plugin pheromone things. It mimics the scent mama cats give off to help calm them down. Maybe you could try one of those? Other clients here have told me it helps their cats.”I’d heard of Feliway before so I knew exactly what she was talking about and decided to give it a try. Within two weeks I saw his fur was growing back. At that point, I’d bought him a new litter box, changed his litter brand and even tried a different food, just in case it was allergies. None of these made a difference, but the Feliway did.It’s not a cure-all. I can’t find a pattern for why but he still stress-licks. It’s just no where near what it was before. He has most of his belly fur back whereas before it was completely gone. And if it runs out and I don’t replace it right away, I start seeing more spots again.Funnily enough, I tried the Optimum version for a month and it didn’t work as well. He started licking off the fur he’d grown back. So, we’ll be sticking to the Classic version on auto-subscribe so we don’t run out. My only wish is that it was slightly less expensive. Maybe I’m greedy since it works so well, but it is pricey.

Our cat was hiding all day, would run if someone rang the doorbell, or if a delivery person would come to the door, …. since using this product, we have our cat back, she loves being around us now, loves to be petted, very calm, and no problems with deliveries or doorbells, … we will continue using this product especially when we are on vacation and have our pet sitter visit. this product was recommended by our vet.

I think Feliway is helpful. Now of course I’m afraid to stop using it for fear my cat will be unhappy. It’s disappointing it’ so expensive though, as each diffuser refill lasts one month at the most. My cat also likes the Feliway spray but I think he’s only intrigued at the moment it’s sprayed and it doesn’t have a lasting effect on the bedding in the carrier…but I’m not sure.

This product is sooo expensive and does absolutely nothing. I have had it plugged in for about a week now and zero effect. My two Indie male cats spray pee right next to the diffuser. Moreover it didn’t even come with a diffuser. It is just a refill for this hefty price. I had to use one of my own mosquito repellent diffusers with this refill. Will leave it on for another few weeks and update my review if I see any change.
