Easy to use. The powder has no taste, so my cats take it mixed with wet food and donât even notice. I see the result already. They donât throw up and the poop regularly. I would buy again.

So Far So Good
My cat has IBD and has had issues for several years with this disorder. My vet recommended probiotics and I stumbled upon this brand because the price was decent and the strains were what I was looking for. I’ve been giving these to my cat for a week and so far I have not seen any adverse reactions that I have with another brand. I know these take awhile to work, so I cannot definitively say that they are doing anything or not. One good thing is he doesn’t even seem to notice they are there when I sprinkle them on top of his food. I highly suggest the manufacturer include instructions on how to gradually introduce probiotics either on the packaging or on the description. From what I’ve seen with other probiotics, this is usually a standard recommendation, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. Per my vet and from personal experience, too much at once can be a shock to the system, especially for IBD cats, so I’ve been feeding him about 1/4 the serving and will continue to slowly increase the amount for 6 weeks.Update: I had to update my review. These probiotics were working really well. My cat didn’t mind them and the price was right; however, when i got about halfway through the container, it became as hard as a rock. Even with the silica gel packet and me storing it in a dry cabinet, the probitoics clumped into an unusable mass. So basically I spent $20 using less than half of the container.

It works
This is the first probiotic I’ve tried for my cats. I chose this brand over others because it has more pre and probiotic strains with higher counts with similar prices plus this one has no added flavorings or meat proteins in it and it is also veterinarian formulated. Many other brands say they have certain certifications and are vet formulated but they don’t have decent information and proof on their websites. Fera’s website has more information on the product and the vet who formulated it. The supplement does have a slight but not deterring odor and is tan in color. I’m on my second container and now all six are getting it on their food. Be aware the container is only half full and the company says it’s a required and safer size package for processing (they’re not the only company that has this response either).5/6 have no issue with the meat protein and they’re the ones that got the entire first container. I saw a difference in their coats within days. It also helped with their bad breath, vomiting, and our old man kitty’s body and ear odor. You could tell he was around as soon as he walked in the room until he started getting this on his food! I didn’t notice a huge difference in litter odor though. Now my baby, she has skin issues caused by a possible food allergy, is possibly epileptic (on antiseizure meds twice daily), slight hypercalcemia, and reoccurring urinary issues (probably caused by the stress and hypercalcemia making her more prone to uti and calcium oxalate crystals and stones causing her to be on antibiotics frequently). No diagnosis yet unfortunately. Because of those issues she has to avoid all additives and is on a soy based diet to rule out food allergens but since shes frequently on antibiotics she needs something to help with her gut and overall health and there needs to be no meat protein. I originally purchased it for her but she didnt get any until the second container. She turns her nose up at her food half the time because she can smell it (the others were the same way at first but they ate it when they got hungry enough and have no problem now) but the jury is still out for her. I’ll update when shes eating it consistently. It does come sealed, has a pack inside to keep it from getting hard and clumping, and comes with a scoop. I do keep it in the fridge after opening to prolong the life and for piece of mind even though it’s polished off well before the date. The cats seem to eat less now that it’s hot and humid (no AC) so I’m not sure how to adjust the feeding schedule. I’m worried the weather is making the probiotic and in turn the kibble spoil. Overall it’s expensive with this many cats but it definitely improves their health so I will continue purchasing.I almost forgot, our black shepherd has been breaking in and eating the cat’s food without any vomiting or diarrhea as a result so I though the cats were just being piggies and begging for extra food. Little did I know they were actually hungry because Oolee is a jerk lol! I guess I can say it works for dogs too because he had zero stomach upset with over a cup and a half of cat food multiple times. It took a few times but I figured it out by noticing the cat’s dish was licked clean (the last tine the bowl was still wet and bubbly with drool lol). When the probiotic is on their food (I mix it in for even distribution to make sure one cat isn’t eating way too much) it leaves a residue on the bowl when the food is gone. I wash their bowl daily to prevent bacteria growth and spoilage.

This stuff really works!
I have a 3 year old German shepherd & her poo has never been hard… I’ve tried several different probiotics & they didn’t work… But I am so happy & Greatful I found this! It not only helped her poo it’s solid! But her breath doesn’t smell nor does she have that smelly body order that German shepherds have… This stuff has been a blessing! & With her weight being 97 pounds I give her 2 scoops! I will definitely be buying more of this! Thank you for making this stuff it works like magic ðUpdate I’ve been using this stuff for 3 months & I took her off her Allergy meds cause German shepherds have Allergies really bad & she was itching bad… Upon stopping that & still putting this over her food. Wow this stuff helps with Allergies too! So that’s something I don’t have to worry about anymore! This stuff still amazes me! I’m still extremely happy I found this & got it! ð

Fructooligosaccharides are NOT good for cats
Update 3/27/24: The seller reached out to me and we were able to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. I originally gave this product a one star review (based on my original review below). However, I am (without prompting or request from the seller) updating the rating to 3 stars because of the STELLAR customer service.(original) My fault for not reading ALL the information on this product prior to purchasing. The ingredient list contains Fructooligosaccharides and like Guar Gum, Locust Bean Gum and Citrus Pectin are not good for a cats’ digenstion. They are too high in fermentability which means they can cause gas, and diarrhea. With the diarrhea, actual LOSS of nutrients happens. If a veterinarian actually came up with this formula, he/she should probably not be treating cats.

So far I find this product to be acceptable. I have only been using it for a short time. The effect on my 2 yr. old is good, seems to giving him better, not so hard stools. The other cat, my 17 yr. old however I am finding he is getting sick from it. Seems he can’t keep the product down.I give it to them in a wet treat so am going to try an alternate way to try.
