Will have to cut to size needed.
I used this product after installing a window air-conditioning unit. It was very easy to cut down to size with a pair of scissors. Then you kind of place the item up close to the open space you are attempting to seal. And kind of gently pushing and roll the item into the open space to fill any gaps or holes that need to be sealed. The product has closed off the gap I was closing up and seems to be made of good quality. I would recommend this product to seal gaps/holes from the inside to the outside of a home, business or vehicle.

Did The Job Perfectly
Used this foam around my air conditioner – the sides and underneath. For the sides i used almost the whole thing folded in half to cover the distance between the unit and the window frame. For the bottom I cut it in half because it was too long. All the foam is snug and there is much less draft. I am very pleased!

Perfect for the baseboard heater gap
Whoever invented baseboard heaters should be put on the Darwin Awards list. Theyâre horrible. Theyâre useless. And they take up two full walls of both rooms in my tiny apartment. Which makes them completely unusable because I own furniture! And you arenât supposed to put furniture within a foot of baseboard heaters. But both my rooms are so small if every piece of furniture was a foot away from the heaters there would be no room for anything else. So I used a space heater all winter. And⦠Everything rolls under them â cat toys, coins, bits of paper. Then one night the cat got her paw stuck under the end of one. So I had to do something. This foam turned out to be the exact perfect size to fill the gap. I ordered eight packages and filled all the gaps. Iâm very happy with the solution and it makes cleaning and finding cat toys simpler.I realize that this is probably not the intended purpose for this foam insulation, but it could not be more perfect for this use if it was designed that way.

Necessary!
I buy the big air conditioner ones and split the in quarters with a razor blade. Easy and cheaper than buying many skinnier ones.

square shape , nice piece of foam
the included foam with a product was.75 inch by 1.5 inch .this foam is square 2.25 x 2.25 inch .this is good foam . Fills the gap .And , 42 inches in length .No adhesive . push into gaps .it can’t go SideWays( to the thinner side ) ,because it is Square .

Wish it came with a bit more product so I would have enough with one purchase, but I do like how thick it is and find that the sound proofing is better than with other products. Seems to help save energy costs this year.
