Gorilla All Weather Waterproof Tape is an ideal solution for outdoor repairs. Made with incredibly strong, permanent, butyl adhesive and a weather resistant shell, this tape withstands even extreme weather conditions. Gorilla All Weather Tape resists drying, cracking, and peeling caused by sunlight, heat, cold, and moisture and works in both hot & cold temperatures. Use like any other tape. Tear Gorilla Tape by hand or cut to size with a knife or scissors. Apply the tape carefully, smoothing out any pockets or rolls. That’s it. Enjoy the strength and durability of Gorilla Tape! For best results, apply to a clean surface free of dust, dirt, and debris. Great for tarps, plastic sheeting, roofs, vents, RV’s, and all general purpose heavy duty repairs. Gorilla All Weather Tape contains a highly concentrated rubber based adhesive and sticks to most plastics, including polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). Gorilla All Weather Tape does not work on materials with high oil or plasticizer content, such as EPDM rubber or PVC. An acrylic tape, such as Crystal Clear Gorilla Tape, may be better suited for these materials. Gorilla All Weather Tape should NOT be used as an electrical tape. Store tape flat on a non-delicate surface. Click on the Gorilla link at the top of this page to visit the Gorilla brand store.

Good thick adhesive
Gorilla tape is extremely sticky and adheres to most anything. Just make sure the surface is clean and free of oil or grease. I used it to repair the vinyl on a seat. Mine arrived hot (Texas) and as I unrolled it the adhesive was a bit gooey and and stuck to the the top surface of the tape below it. Put it in the freezer for a bit and all was well. Very useful tape to have around the house. Far superior to regular duct tape.

Works for car repair.
Three months ago I used this tape to repair the molding on the front of my Chevy Volt. This black plastic molding hugs the ground to increase energy efficiency but also often brushes against the ground. About 1/3 of it has been hanging loose for a couple of years. Iâve tried screws, other tapes, and combinations but after a few months it falls again.I used a combination of screws and this tape three months ago. It went through a summer where most days are hotter than 100° and it is parked outside. Iâve bottomed the moulding out hard a few times. It still feels solid and the black color has barely faded.

Great tape!
This tape is super sticky and very durable. I do have trouble trying to tear off a piece, so a knife is needed.

Not for hoses.
This came up at the top of the page when I searched for hose repair tape, and I’m sorry to say it failed at that. It is low tack, and apparently the adhesive was insufficient to hold back water pressure. However, it sticks ferociously to itself, is quite tough, and seems unfazed by weather or water; I’m sure I’ll make good use of it.

Good quality
Gorilla All Weather Outdoor Waterproof Duct Tape, UV and Temperature Resistant, 1.88″ x 25 yd, Black, (Pack of 1)” : I wanted the toughest Gorilla duct tape in black, for various weather, for inside by sport SUV that takes a beating from varied climates, hot, cold, humid. The description seem to fit the bill. I just applied it to some interior accessories in my car. Seems strong but has a strong bad odor like freshly bred asphalt. But, since I only used a few strips, I think the odor might disappoint. Feels string and sticky which is what I need. Great value, great bang for the buck, arrived fast. Store in tightly sealed container to mitigate smell and keep it indoors room temperature, out of the sun whiled in store for optimal long lasting quality.

Perfect solution for hole in a grill cover
My grill cover got a hole from rubbing on the brick exterior in the wind. The new cover is somewhere in the neighborhood of $70 and I figured it would just get another hole, so I was looking for a solution to patch the hold rather than replace the cover just to replace it again. I came across this tape and thought I’d give it a try, worst case scenario, I have to replace the cover. I have to admit I was nervous given the reviews. I would comment that there are several types of Gorilla tape, not clear if some folks have had experience with some of the others and commented on this or what has happened, but for me this worked just as they claimed. When I opened the wrapper it seemed like the edges of the roll were stickier than the average duct tape so I was wary as some reviews mention this being incredibly sticky but the product description states it should not be overly sticky to the touch. Once I started to pull the tape off the roll, which is a little tough, I found the product description to be accurate. I did not have any sticky residue on my fingers. I did have trouble tearing it, so I used scissors to cut it and no residue left on the scissors. I cleaned the surfaces the the grill cover well and layed it on a flat surface so the tape would be sure to stick and apply flat. I applied a piece to both the inside and outside of the cover. Instructions say to rub vigorously once applied, which I did. I do have one edge that seems to be less sticky or not adhering as well as the rest, it happens to be the first edge that pulled off the roll. I’ll have to keep an eye on that and see if it starts to pull up or if I’ll need to try to pull that piece off and try again. If so I’ll update on that process. Overall, it seems to be as advertised, application was super easy, and we’ll see how it holds up to the summer weather. I just got it and applied it today, so I will update if it doesn’t hold well.

Gorilla Tape
If you need to tape something, either indoors or outdoors – in the harshest Texas heat or cold, and you need it to last and stay stuck – this is the tape for you. It is so sticky and solid that it is a little hard to get started and yet the roll is so sturdy that it can be used as a bench block. Great product, I recommend it!

worked for me
I used this on my plastic trash can lid outdoors that had some cracks. Been a couple of months, sitting in the hot summer sun, lots of rain, and the tape still looks brand new. not even any fading, no peeling or fraying or anything. Winter is next, ice and snow and cold. But I expect itll be fine. Even If I have to repatch it once a year, thats money well spent.

Hi, I tried it on my car’s sunroof since it was leaking water when it was raining or the car was in the car wash. It worked perfectly for a few days then when I washed my car again, the water starts leaking to the car.
