5-Star Customer Service and one GREAT scale
I started exploring the craft of pour over coffee brewing in 2021. By December 2022, I had used two different digital coffee scales which were ok, but just ok. Thankfully, the second scale stopped working and I bought the Greatergoods scale. What a difference! Then, about three weeks ago, I noticed that as I was approaching 20g, the scale seemed to jump to 20g before it should have. Upon further examination, it did the same thing at 10g. It just mistakenly rounds up too soon. My solution was to divide my measurements so they didnât end at 10g or 20g. After a few days (mornings!) of this, I e-mailed Greater good and inquired about a recalibration or a fix. In less than a week, I had a brand new scale in my kitchen! THIS is how a company should be. Great scale, great service.

Amazing for $20
Let’s start with cons – there are 2.5 of them and none are really critical for this price.1) The main thing that bugs me (and easily fixable in next versions) – there is timely indication that battery is getting low, so you’d change it in time. Once the battery runs out it just flashes “battery low” and turns off. Sometimes mid-brew, that’s the most annoying this that this scale features2) Not really washable. I don’t really care much for it, but it bugs me once in a while when I take those out the cabinet and look at the dirty surface. The rubber is hard to clean so these round stains – they are semi-permanent. Also the construction makes it really hard to clean areas under the scaled padding (next to buttons)2.5) It’s not as accurate and good-looking as some proper coffee scales, even timemore looks so much better, let alone acacia or fellow (though they cost x5-10). It’s good enough for home brews, but lacks the high-end scales precision. And yeah, you can tell it’s cheap from the first glance. Now, the good part. Apart from the couple things above that bug me, this is a REALLY GOOD scale for it’s price. One decimal precision is good enough for my home brews, buttons are reliable and properly working. Basically, one-digit precision and a timer is everything you need and this scales have it.I did rate it as 5/5, because for this price it’s perfect and it serves well

I really love this little scale.
I did a great deal of shopping around when looking to upgrade my cheap kitchen scale for a more precise coffee-specific tool. The super high-end models were tempting but just seemed like overkill for my home setup, and I wanted something very easy to use. If I have to refer to the user guide every time, it’s way too complicated. I also needed a scale that would complement my large 10-cup Chemex; it needed to have a sufficiently large scale pad and a readout that wouldn’t be covered by the base of the machine.I’m so pleased to report that this scale does a great job, ticking all of my boxes within a very reasonable price point. I also happen to love the manual buttons, for anyone who finds the touch screen operation to be finnicky. If I had to nitpick, it’s annoying to replace the batteries regularly.

Wow really good food scale
Iâve used a few different food scales for food weigh cause I go gym! And holy crap, this is the best one. Itâs very accurate, easy to use, click button, not touch. Love this scale. Worth the $

Great customer service.
I enjoyed this scale a great deal until I started getting inaccurate readings. But it gets a positive review because of great customer service. The customer rep, Ashley, was extraordinarily pleasant and helpful. She immediately said that they would send me a new one, which I got the very next day. She also assured me that this was a product which they have had very little problems with. That is yet to be seen, but the great customer service, and one day turnaround for a new scale, has prompted me to write a positive review. I have bought hundreds of items from Amazon, and never ever left a review. This was a surprisingly positive experience.

Really nice as a general use scale
Pros:-Really nice bright/sharp screen. Far better than the >$50 OXO and any other scale I’ve seen-Very sensitive, much better for weighing smaller ingredients (<10 grams) than the OXO.-It has decimal pounds e.g. can read 1.3 pounds. Few scales have this. I hate mixing pounds and ounces.-Much more premium looking than most kitchen scales- When turning on the timer, the scale goes several minutes before auto-shutoff (I don't care about the timer itself, though most scales shut off pretty quickly)Cons:-Somewhat annoying to cycle through the numerous measuring units. Wish you could disable the ones you don't use. One button press to alternate between decimal pounds and grams would be perfect for me.-Every scale does this, but it is a waste of a setting to have ML as an option. It will always read the same number as it does on grams and it means more buttons to cycle through.-I also wish you could disable the 1 decimal past the gram. The scale isn't actually accurate to 10ths of a gram, so it's just extra information clutter. Even if it were when cooking a 10th of a gram rarely is significant.-lower weight limit than general purpose kitchen scalesOverall, I love this scale. While this is marketed for coffee this is one of the best baking/general purpose kitchen scales you can buy.

Great scale!!
This thing is wonderful. In the world of high-tech, Bluetooth, capable and exceedingly expensive coffee. Scales, this thing is outstanding. Huge display. Very clear, extremely accurate. by comparison, I reload rifle ammunition, and my scale is sensitive to micrograms. Based on Equipment, this is very accurate. Itâs extremely user-friendly, proof, and profoundly affordable. Donât waste your money on these super high-end scales, unless you absolutely need Bluetooth. By the way, everyone I know who has the real expensive scales like AçaÃ, are always complaining about the Bluetooth. Hope this helps.

Solid scale
This is a really good scale. It’s accurate enough for me, and I like the timer setting. The different colored tops as well seem easy to remove and clean.
