Easiest processor I have ever used!
AND it does a better job that most of the large ones on the market, if you’re only working with smaller quantities of food. I have a large, bulky, cumbersome food processor that has been stuck in the back corner of my countertop for years, and maybe used 4 or 5 times. It’s unwieldy, is extremely hard to put together and get it to work. And the interior of the bowl doesn’t come up high enough, so if you’re chopping something like tomatoes, which are quite juicy, the juice will simply run out of the center hole on the bowl like someone turned on the faucet. And it’s a bear to take apart and clean! Enter the Hamilton Beach electric vegetable chopper and mini food processor. And it was love at first push of the lid! I’ve been craving macaroni salad, but not enough to stand and chop all the veggies into minced size. A perfect test for my new chopper! First I quartered a sweet onion, tossed it in and gave 2 presses of the lid. PERFECTION! If I hadn’t wanted them chopped super tiny, one press would have done it. Rinse it out and on to my green bell pepper. Quartered that was well, the cut the quarters in half and tossed them in. Again, 2 presses and they were chopped to perfection. Clean up was a breeze, just rinse under hot water, wipe with a dish washing wand, and DONE! And to make it even more perfect, this thing is SO easy to store. If you leave it on the counter, it takes up very little room. And it’s small enough to fit into the cabinets, something you can’t do easily with the big boys. It’s going to be a whole new ball game when I get into salsa season! I LOVE THIS LITTLE CHOPPER!!! If I could give it 10 stars, I would. It’s ONLY downside is that you can’t use it for large chores unless you break it down into stages. For me, it’s the perfect chopper and I doubt I’ll ever use the big one again. I got this for small things like guac etc. I even used it for a small amount of dough. It’s powerful for a little thing, you really can’t put alot of stuff in it, half cup or a cup, but it’s perfect for me and my partner when he’s here.It’s very small and easy to put in the cupboard when I’m not using it because I have limited counter space.It’s cheap enough to have for the few times a year I use it. I really don’t need a big one.Comes with one blade. Easy to use by pressing the lid down, can pulse or hold down.

Me gusta mucho concinar, pero detesto picar cebolla (me hace llorar, tiro por viaje).Cuando vi esto en Amazon… y a este precio… simplemente tuve que pedirlo. ¡Una excelente decisión!Es pequeño y fácil de usar. Pero, quizá lo más importante: ¡es facilísimo de lavar! Smiplemente quitar la tapa, la cuchilla, y la base, lavar con cuidado, secar, y guardar. Ahorra mucho tiempo picando las cosas, y me gusta mucho cómo deja los cortes.Por supuesto, hay que saber utilizarlo. No se deja apretado consntatemente, porque haría un licuado. Más bien: se le dan pequeños “toques” (yo diría que de medio segundo cada uno) y se va midiendo cómo va el proceso de picado… y se le dan más toques (según sea necesario) hasta que quede justo como quieres.Ahora, picar cebolla es tan fácil como partir una cebolla en octavos, echarlos al chopper, y listo.Ya solo falta ver cuánto tiempo dura… pero, por el precio… vale la pena intentarlo.
