A Novel Knob for Four (04) Smallish Containers
HCM offers a novel take on airtight, locking food storage with this set of 04 (four) 3/4L containers. The clear plastic body is roughly 5.25″ * 3.5″ and the containers is about 4.25″ with the lid on. The lids is about an inch thick and the triangular knob clearly indicates which direction to twist open or lock it closed. These do not have the microwave or dishwasher safe symbols on them, so if needed, I’ll be handwashing. Most container set I’ve picked up come with labels. For the most part I’ve been ambivalent about them, but I used them this time because powders look annoyingly similar before I’ve had my morning coffee. The included marker dried super quick and there a lot of extras so don’t worry if you want to change things up.The knob is the most distinct feature of this set, otherwise these are pretty standard vacuum containers. Each one takes up about a notecard worth of real estate on your counter or shelf. For the interior dimensions, a standard Q-tip fits almost perfectly. The compact size is good for scenarios where variety of smaller quantities might be handy. In my case, I don’t care for supplement containers out on the counter. Taller / larger containers are good for things where your take a couple of big scoops a day. These are perfect for things that you take less of and/or less frequently. It terms of value, this set skews high given the number and size of the containers.

A little smaller than I expected, but they are nice quality. Have a nice seal on them and come with labels.

Love these!
I got these storage containers to better organize my pups treats, instead of having anyone if little bags in the cabinet. They come indivisible wrapped but as you can see, they can be stacked into each other for storage as well. The tops are secured in place like a vacuum seal when you twist the triangular part to the left.So itâs like a twist sort of thing. You just turn the triangle piece to the left once, and it locks the lid in place.Shel it around and nothing is going to get knocked loose or come out.The bigger container I used for his daily snacks, and the smaller container is for his supplements , which he only needs 2 a day. These stack well on top of each other and make his doggy cabinet look much better and less cluttered. You can even gift these for someone you know who may have a touch of OCD like me, where I canât stand any kind of clutter and am obsessed with making these look uniformed and organized.Store whatever youâd like in them and theyâll be in perfect condition and put away.

Smaller than expected
I got these since our family uses clear airtight bins all around the kitchen. Weâve used many different brands over the years. Each have the pros and cons.Things I like: the clear plastic is pretty think and robust. It has survived a couple of falls from about 5 Feet and its still going strong. When the lids are locked, they provide a nice tight seal.Something that I would like to see an improvement is the locking mechanism. Compared to other designs, these are harder to grab. Also, you have to make sure you donât twist too much because the guide pins have a tendency of becoming uncoupled and you cant close the lid without manhandling it.

Great! Unique Easy Spin & Seals Tight
I really like the design of these food storage containers. Instead of dealing with pushing down or working the edges to get lips on, you just sit the lid on top with it’s rubber seal running around the inner edge, and turn the dial on top clockwise and it locks down to seal tightly. These are not huge, but ideal for things I don’t keep a high volume of like snacks and ingredients such as nuts, trail mix, candies, cookies, pretzels, lentils, fresh tea herbs, pet snacks, to pack lunch dishes, and you could use these to store things other than food, as well. Like sewing or crafting supplies, play dough, kids small toy parts, things you want to protect from exposure to air like photographs, etc. Very versatile, good quality, thick sturdy clear plastic, airtight storage with an amazing innovative seal that is super simple and really works great.

Not a fan of the lid
These containers seem to be nice quality-wise. They are fairly small so I expect I’ll use them for things like nuts / dried fruit. They’re much too small to use for anything you would keep in a “cannister” like sugar or flour. They are attractive on your shelves and they stack nicely. They say they are not dishwasher safe, but I did put the clear part (not the lid) in my dishwater top shelf with no problem.I cannot give these 5 starts because of the dial closure. This mechanism is an inset dial that you have to turn to open/close. I find this to be awkward/tight to use…I have medium sized hands, I think someone with large hands might find these downright annoying.

Lids Do Not Stay Put
While the sizes you get in one set are nice, I found a problem with the lids not staying on. The lids are rather cheap feeling and thin, with not very good suction. Thereâs a twist knob at the top thatâs not easy to use, and even after twisting it closed, the lids came off. We keep all our pantry items in similar containers for freshness and to keep ants out, and while our other brands have tight fitting suction lids, these just donât work well. Two stars for nice size containers, but thatâs about it. Weâll repurpose these for bathroom supplies that donât need to be air tight.

Seal is good
I normally use Oxo pop containers to store dry goods in the pantry, but when I saw these HCM bins available on Vine, I decided to give them a try. Instead of a push/pop up button like Oxo, they have a knob to turn on the top – they are not press and seal. The quality seems pretty comparable and you save a bit of money too. The seal is nice and tight and this set of three gives you nice sizing options (one large, two small). Each one came individually wrapped in plastic. When I unwrapped them they had a bit of smell inside, so I’m giving them a good wash and letting them air out before using them.

This review is for: HCM Food Storage Containers, Airtight Food Storage Containers with Lids for Kitchen Pantry Organizing Stackable Container For Cereal Snack Flour Sugar (3PCS, 0.75L+0.75L+3.2L)These are very similar to the brand name version, only the lids are different and easier to use.The lids are substantial. They have an easy access turn lid that allows you to actually get a decent grip to open them. No more broken nails or frustration trying to open your containers. The seal is very good. You feel the suction of air when you put these together. They also look really sharp. It’s a clear plastic that allows you to see what’s inside easily, but, I plan on labeling my items. Labels come with the set along with a white chalk marker, but, I’m thinking a label maker. I’m trying to make it look like a full pantry edit! They look like they could take a few drops without issue. I didn’t try, but, they feel really well made. The beauty of the 3 piece set is, they can be configured to whatever you need. Ie. Large for flour or rice or annything you store in large quantities. The medium/small for oats, sugar, crackers, cookies, brown sugar, bread crumbs, coucous, whatever you can think of.The only thing I wish is that they came in a larger set. I’d love to redo my entire pantry with these.Great purchase!

Decent little BPA free storage containers. The seal mechanism on the lids is very easy to use as it’s quite large and rotates easily. The one major short coming is that even if you engage the locking mechanism to activate the sealing feature – it is still quite easy to pull the lid off. So you can pull the lids off whether they are sealed or not. I would have found it more confidence inspiring that the seal is true, if they didn’t come apart so easily despite being sealed. Still, the seal feature does seem to enhance the sealing effect. And so long as this seal is a genuine seal – then I would be content with the cost vs value balancing of this kit since it comes with 4, and the function is easy to use.Likes:- Locking mechanism on lid for “seal”- Includes labels.- BPA free.- Assuming the seal is good, nice convenient little air tight storage solution.- Includes 4 boxes.- Included a marker for labelling.Dislikes:- The seal isn’t amazing. Can still easily open with or without the “seal” function engaged. It does seem to add additional sealing, but it doesn’t lock into place very well. Remains to be seen if the seal is proper.

These are good BPA free food grade plastic storage containers. It has a clear plastic body which make it convenient to see what’s inside. It also comes with labels and marker pen which is nice. These containers are stackable and great for food storage. Just wish they are a bit bigger. The airtight lid design is the reason to get these food containers, it provides a good seal that keep food fresh and dry. With the easy twisted triangle button to open and close the airtight lid, all family members can operate it without any issue. Initially I wasn’t sure the seal on the lid are any good, so I filled the container with water, flipped and shaked it a few times, then let it sit on the countertop upside down for 10 minutes. There is no leaking after that. Hence, I think that’s a good airtight seal for these storage boxes. I know I can easily pull the lid open by force but I don’t have a reason for that. At long as the lid is airtight, it is going to keep the food dry and fresh, and I am happy with that. Overall, I am pleased with these food containers. Highly recommend.

I got this set of 4 packs (0.75L*4) hoping for some good storage options, but unfortunately, I found a few issues.First off, the sizes provided in the set are nice, giving me options for storing different items. However, the lids are a major letdown. They feel really cheap and don’t stay on securely at all. Even after twisting them closed, they still come off easily, which is frustrating. Unlike other brands I’ve tried, these lids just don’t create a tight seal, affecting the freshness of my food.Another downside is that the thick lids reduce the interior capacity of the containers, which affects how much I can store in them. Plus, I’m not too confident about their durability, especially considering the thin rubber sealing gasket. On the positive side, the bottom portion of the container is sturdy, and they do stack securely, which helps save space in my pantry. I also appreciate the clear design, reusable labels, and stackability, although I won’t be using the labels myself. One major drawback is that these containers are not dishwasher safe, so I have to hand wash them, which can be a hassle. They hold about 0.75 liters each, roughly equivalent to a little over 3 cups, which is decent for storing things like dried fruit, pumpkin seeds, dried herbs, and coffee.Overall, while they have some good qualities, like their sturdy bottom portion and stackability, the issues with the lids and their limited capacity make me question their value, especially considering the initial price.

For some reason I thought this was 3 different sizes, but it is two small containers of the same size and the third is a larger size that you could store rice, pasta, sugar or flour. I would have preferred one medium size one instead of 2 small. That is my fault though, I assume I did not pay attention to the listing as well as I should have. They do seem to provide a tight seal. You can see the lid expand when you turn the dial on the top. I don’t know if it is a vacuum seal, but it is at least relatively air tight. I put mini marshmallows in one of the small containers to see if they remained soft without drying out. I will edit this if I find that they dried out and got hard. They plastic is rigid and doesn’t feel as good a quality as say, the OXO pop containers, but they provide a similar storage. They are less expensive I think than that brand unless you find a sale. I am happy with these, overall.
