Pleasantly surprised
I take a leap if faith and ordered this lip balm. I wanted the SPF protection in my lips and clean ingredients. Most products on the market can deliver them but lack of pigmentation. I need to add lipsticks on top of my lip balms. This lip balm satisfied all my criteria. One swipe gives sufficient pigment on my lips. You can build on the color if you like more intense appearance. It is moisture and feel comfortable without irritating scent. The size is perfect to fit in my purse. The price is right. I ordered the blood orange. It brought out a warm glow on my face. I love this lip balm and will order other colors next time.

Adds just enough color.
I only gave it 4 stars because it is a little bit dry to put on, probably because there is no petroleum in it which is a good thing. The smell is a little weird. Not in a good way. I will buy probably again tho.

Just received HONEST LIP BALM in Summer Melon. It’s the perfect shade, not too pink, red or orange. Just a nice swipe of color for lips. I might buy another.

Color not true to advertised
I ordered the fruit punch. The color is too faint and a bit off. Not satisfying with the color. The texture is too creamy for me too, one layer on the lips is already very sticky. Probably because many of the ingredients are good emollients, that makes the lip balm sticky. If you don’t mind the color and the stickiness, it’s a good balm.

Sheâs 12 and wanted a more grown-up lip balm that had a cool case. This fits the bill without being too makeup-y. Itâs a very pretty color and looks nice on her and itâs EWG-approved.

I have very very sensitive lips to most of lip products and i keep looking for an affordable ânon-toxicâ colored lip balm for daily use. 99.9% drugstore lip balms dispointed me. For example NYX butter gloss gave me tiny red bumps. Burts Bee burned my lips… So I have to get back to Dior lip glow which seems to be gentle, although its super expensive. When my husband saw me ordering another 11$ lip balm, he questioned me why I keep wasting money on cheap lip products that are highly potential to harm my lips. But it turns out this lip balm is very gentle, my sensitive lips approved. I feel like im wearing another 50$ Dior lip glow. Its soft, lightweight and smooth to apply, it even doesnt have a scent compared to Dior one. I reapply several times after I eat and at the end of day, my lips arenât dried out. Girls please dont expect a 11$ lip balm does wonder to your lips just by one apply, itâs ridiculous. Im so happy that I found this product and Im gonna order more colors. Thank you Honest beauty, you just save my pocket!
