This Pot is AMAZING
Why didn’t someone tell me about this pot? This has changed my life- around dinner time anyway. I have used it about 10 times in the three weeks I have owned it. I will never go back to not owning and using a pressure cooker insta pot. I can’t say enough good about it. I love everything about it- its easy to use, clean, operate, experiment with and so very, very fast at cooking food. I have cooked everything from salmon to soups with it, and it is all cooked to perfection. I would suggest getting a cookbook and the strainer/steamer pot that fit inside it sold separately, that keeps food out of the liquid better than just a rack. And the cookbook will get you trying more things than just what you can think of- time to try something new. The presser cooker part is my favorite. Rich, nutrient dense cooked to perfection foods.

Another Great Instant Pot
Our previous Instant Pot finally met it’s demise after a number of years of tasty meals. I got this new one for my wife; and she’s picked up where she left off with the old one. She like this one as much as her first. Good value for a well made kitchen appliance that saves time and allows you to prepare great tasting and healthy meals. I recommend this model for your consideration.

Convenient and High Quality Product but…
It was easy to use and time saving. I used mainly pressure cook option to cook food. The time can be customised easily starting from one minute to more for pressure cooking. However, I had to return the product due to difference in Electrical voltage power output.In US and Canada, the volt output is 120v and where I was using it the volt output is 240v. I was able to use it only once and after that due to volt output difference, it malfunctioned. Therefore, I returned back the product.Currently, I am using another multi-pressure cooker but the options are not that customisable. Instant Pot was perfect but had to replace.

Great for Busy Young Professionals
Bought this for my daughter and son in-law, who are busy, young professionals with a growing family and far too busy to spend time planning quality and nutritious meals. After showing them the ins and outs of pressure and slow cooking, they have come to love this thing! Great meals done in a fraction of traditional cooking times or slow cooking meals on the weekend. Clean up is a breeze and keeps the mess centralized rather than spread all over the stovetop and multiple pans. This is a big unit and requires some storage space but if you’re like their family, this would likely be one appliance you would use frequently and get great value from. Soups, stew, pulled pork/chicken, etc., etc. Super happy.

Disappointed by this Dud
For reference, I have faithfully used the original 6qt Instant Pot since 2016, often several times a week. I worship at the Church of Instant Pot and have converted many of my reluctant friends to the pot’s wonders. When I saw this newer 8qt version on sale, I decided to treat myself to an upgrade.It arrived the same day, and I was excited to take it for a test ride by taking the initial test recommended by the company. It took forever to build up pressure. I held out, thinking that this larger version would take more time. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that steam was seeping out like a witch’s cauldron, and my countertops were soaked.I took everything apart and discovered that there was a hidden orange warning tag located near the “whisper quiet” area. I was worried that I missed another piece of packaging material. I double-checked the user manual to see where these little Easter eggs were placed. Unfortunately, the manual nor Google had the answer.I was determined to get my new gal working, so I tested again, and again, and again, and (you guessed it) again. On the last try, the metal gasket shot out and landed on my brand-new, expensive induction cooktop. Thank goodness that little rocket didn’t crack the glass or, worse yet, hit me in the eye.I know that I am returning this dangerous lemon, but should I exchange it for a new one or just stick with my OG Ride or Die?

Love the digital display
Beside that itâs easier to use with the digital display, one of the best thing that I like about is the steam release button in the front. Plus the digital display says âdonât openâ. I like to do bulk cooking of soups. The sauté for the vegetables is just as hot as putting on a pan on the stove. But there is one difference. The container that I sauté in, is the same pot that I will cook my soup in. One suggestion that I would make is to get an extra container and sealing top.This has allowed me to cook the soup, put it in the refrigerator, if I am tired, then put in the Pyrex bowls for the freezer the next day. Perfect for bulk cooking.
