Keurig K-Iced Single Serve Coffee Maker – Brews Hot and Cold – Gray

The keurig is very easy to use and to keep clean. Its simplicity in design also looks great constantly sitting on the countertop. The gray color is an excellent blend for a stainless steel kitchen.This iced coffee keurig is far superior to the basic individual serving keurig for the simple reason that you can make more cups in less time. Not only does each cup take only about a minute to make (vs 2.5 minutes per cup with the basic keurig), the water carafe can hold enough water to make three individual cups, so you can make one cup right after another before needing to refill the water. This is a worthy quality if you have guests who want their own unique coffee flavor.The keurig is definitely more expensive than a traditional coffee maker when factoring in the cost of all the coffee pods throughout the keurig’s lifetime. However, the keurig is still much cheaper than the “star” coffee shops.

Iced Coffee Review
I purchased this Keurig mainly for me as I enjoy a flavorful cup of iced coffee each morning. I am really not a coffee drinker. I only recently started drinking iced coffee after tasting the Pumpkin Spice iced coffee that comes out every fall through Dunkin. I will not drink straight coffee. To avoid the high caloric content and junk in these drinks I began buying the premade unsweetened iced coffee containers found in the supermarkets. From there I added almond milk and flavored stevia drops. I thought the Keurig would be nice to have in lieu of purchasing these products. This machine works great. I love it. (It will also serve as my backup should I have guests that want a hot cup of coffee – not tested, yet). However, what I didn’t realize, was that although this Keurig has the “select a size”, the coffee pods recommend brewing with 8 oz water. I was looking for my large Venti size amount. When you brew for cold coffee, it brews only half of the amount you select. Yields 4 oz coffee for 8 oz. You’re supposed to add ice to the mug while it’s brewing, but it doesn’t yield the amount I want. I tried using the 12 oz brew amount for 6 oz of coffee, ice included, and did find the flavor holds and is not watered down too much, but you must be aware of this if you are a true coffee lover. So, I find myself, to get at least 12 oz of beverage, adding additional unsweetened, plain coffee from the premade bottled coffees available in the supermarkets. Kind of defeats the purpose doesn’t it? I continue to use my Keurig because I purchase the Green Mountain flavored pods for flavor that don’t add the milk and sugar in them that the McCafe pods do. So, bottomline…if you are purchasing this for that large cup of flavored ice coffee this is not the machine to buy. However, if you like the quick, small cup of iced, it’s great. I would also like to assume it brews the same pod as well hot.

Perfect for small kitchens and iced coffee lovers
I LOVE this!!!!! I have had the same Keurig for probably 10 years. Well I became obsessed with iced coffee and my old one obviously doesn’t make that! I bought this and haven been to Starbucks or Dunkin donuts since. I got creative with my frother too and make my own sweet cream. It makes iced or hot, but I make iced mostly. It also is not big and bulky, so it doesn’t take up a ton of space on my counter. I bought the white one and it has a nice pearly finish so it wipes off really easily!

nice coffee maker, but grounds always seem to come out
I like this coffee maker. It doesn’t taste like plastic the first couple cups. It has nice features.I like being able to fill the tank and be good to make a couple cups of (decaf) coffee during the day.Only problem is – grounds seem to escape the pods. i tried cleaning it out including the needle, carefully closing the lid on the pod – sometimes even piercing the bottom of the pod before closing the lid on the top.But grounds seem to come out.

 Jai changeé mon ancien keurig car trop gros. Celui-ci est parfait. Je le laisse sur ma planche sur le comptoir. Le café est cgaud. Je n’ai qu’a souleve le couvercle, mettre mon cup et choisir le format. L’eau est toujours prête même après une nuit. Pas besoin de faire réchauffer l’eau avant. Comme il esr blanc, je met un morceau essuir tout pour ne pas a avoir a essuyer les gouttes qui continue de couler. Je l’adore
