It really works!!
As I get older, exposing fingers to the sharp edges of the box grater becomes undesirable. If you have a Kitchen Aid mixer – this is a wonderful solution. For years, we have grated cheese for pizzas, eggs, potatoes and assorted vegatables. What a pain – this cheese grater is the solution.My suspicion was that cleaning this attachment would take much longer than cleaning the box grater. To my supprise, the attachment is very easy to clean.The add page says this is a used item – we received a new – in original box – item.Don’t think – order this.

These are a must have if you own a KitchenAid. Great attachment that makes grating a breeze. I have used it for cheese, cabbage, onion, and potatoes so far. The pieces are easy to wash and easy to use.

Life saver
My hands get so sore from grating cheese and block cheese is just better than the packaged shredded cheese is. I saw this and purchased for my kitchen aid and itâs WONDERFUL! A lifesaver for making sausage balls! And it cleaned up so easy and the box it comes in is perfect for storing it back under the counter! Very happy with this purchase.

Wish I’d Bought It Sooner
We prefer freshly grated parm. I love to bake quiche and homemade Mac & cheese is SO much better. And it’s been years since I baked a carrot cake because grating carrots is a pain. Packaged shredded cheese doesn’t melt the same because of the coating used to keep the shreds from sticking together. Frozen/prepackaged hash Browns are also coated and fresh are so much better. The shredder is so fast. Takes longer to set it up and clean it than to shred my ingredient. And cleanup is quick and easy as well. Plus it’s so much safer. Yes there is a little that does not get through the blades but it doesn’t go to waste. Those little pieces are tasty samples or get sliced and added to the recipe. Yes, the box is a bit big but nothing says you have to use it to store the parts. I do so the blades and my fingers are protected. It has made cooking fun again.

Fantastic!!
This is the first kitchen aid attachment I buy and it works perfectly. Iâm trying to downsize the number of appliances as they take up so much space and this will be my new go to for shredding and slicing. I used it for grating Parmesan cheese and it worked perfectly. Very easy to clean. I wish the main component could go in the dishwasher – I canât tell why itâs not possible to wash there, but worth it regardless.

LOVE – Saves a lot of money
I got this as a gift and I absolutely love it. Super easy to use. Grating cheese vs buying pre-shredded cheese is so much better. Less processing and fewer additives before it gets to you. Highly recommend.

Cheese grater
I like it for a cheese grater but it wonât grate lunch me for a salad. But otherwise it is perfect

These attachments have been a huge time saver. They work really well, even on softer cheeses (though popping softer cheese in the freezer for 15-20 or so minutes make grating much easier and less messy). Makes excellent hash browns and much faster and better than a box grater. All of these attachments have handled everything we’ve thrown at them with excellent results. The box they come in is somewhat large and awkward so you may need to store them out of the box if you’re short on space, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker. Clean up is quick and easy – much easier than cleaning a box grater. I have been a chef for almost 35 years and am currently a private chef. I use these nearly everyday both with my client and in my own home. I think they’re worth every penny.

Gestern geliefert, bei gut einer Woche Lieferzeit aus den USA.Ausgepackt, geprüft und gereinigt und natürlich sofort getestet.Ich kann nur sagen TOP!Ich habe Möhren mit der groben Raspel gemacht, sehr gutes Ergebnis. Gurke in Scheiben und geraspelt, sehr gutes Ergebnis. Stangensellerie mit der groben Raspel, gutes Ergebnis.Die zwischen Trommel und Gehäuse verbleibenden Reste sind bauartbedingt und ich sehe das nicht als Problem, die Schnipsel werden einfach genascht.Einziges Manko…. das geraspelte oder geschnittene Gut fällt nicht aus der Trommel und muss mit der Hand herausgeholt werden, sonst verstopft die Geschichte leider.Die Reinigung gestaltet sich absolut kinderleicht.Reste oder besser die hier sehr oft beschriebenen Verfärbungen lassen sich mit einem Blatt Küchentuch und ein paar Tropfen Speiseöl ohne jeden Kraftaufwand problemlos beseitigen.Das Ding ist spitze und wertet die Kitty nochmal richtig auf ðWie immer gnadenlos überteuert, aber top Qualität, klare Kaufempfehlung.
